A Robin's Dream (Andrew x Robyn)

Chapter 1

Hindi na niya inisip pang kumain at diniretso ng inom ang gamot na nakalagay sa container. Ito na ang huling araw ng kanyang 'heat'.

Sa mundong ginagalawan nila, hindi lang babae at lalaki ang kasarian. Meron silanh second gender: alpha, beta, at omega.

Ang alpha at omega ang pinaka-rare na klase ng gender. Samantalang binubuo ng 80% ng population ay mga beta.

Ang alpha ang masasabing pinaka-superior specie. Alpha's are know as a specie with superior genes, brain, body, face, status. Kapag ang second gender mo ay alpha, its is said na set na ang buhay mo for good.

Beta's on the other hand are the normal person.

While an omega is a specie that's different like an alpha. They are species that can have men pregnant as well. They release pheromones and only an alpha and another omega can smell.

Robyn is an omega, but a recessive one. Which means, he is almost the same as a beta. Every once in a while, they experience a heat and, in his case, his heat is nothing more than a fever. That's how recessive his second gender is.

Dahil dito he can live his life with no worries of an alpha getting allured by his scent since its almost non-existent. This was proven and tested, hindi nag-manifest si Robyn bilang isang omega. At the age of 10, he lived as a beta.

Only when he started college, at the age of 18, he noticed some changes. At the age of 19, nakumpirma niyang nagbago na ang secondary gender niya.

A mutation happened and caused his secondary gender to change. Although he was recognized now as an omega, he's a recessive. His first heat happened last summer and it was just like a season flu. Body pain, feeling feverish, but he is not craving for an alpha's pheromone. He is also not releasing such thing, since, his recessive genes are unable to produce the normal amount for a normal omega.

His friends, Elaine and Jade, knows his condition. Jade is an alpha, Elaine is an omega. They are partners with bond.

Alam niya kung gaano mag-aalala ang mga kaibigan niya kung sabihan niyang irregular ang heat niya, paniguradong pipilitin na naman siya ni Jade na kunin ang sponsorship na binibigay ng pamilya niya.

Masaya siyang malaman na may kaibigan pa rin siya na handang tumulong sa kanya. Pero hindi niya maatim na tanggapin iyon.

Tahimik niyang inisip kung anong kailangan niyang gawin habang nakatulala sa nakatayong canvas. Hindi niya namalayan nakatulog na pala siya

Kinabukasan, habang nasa kalagitnaan ng klase, biglang nag-message sa kanya si Jade.

Message:

Binnie, available ka for a part time? Naghahanap si Prof Sanchez ng helper sa isa niyang kaibigan.

Puntahan mo na lang si Prof sa may staff room.

Saktong sakto naman ang message ni Jade dahil naisip na rin ni Robyn na maghanap ng panibagong trabaho. Hindi kasi sasapat para sa susunod na buwan ang kinikita niya dahil na rin sa siya ang gumagastos para sa tuition at materials na kailangan niya.

He immediately replied to her and thanked her for the offer.

The only thing Robyn is thinking of would be how to graduate college and how he can feed himself.

After class, pumunta si Robyn sa staff room at hinanap si Professor Sanchez.

"Andito po si Prof Sanchez?" tanong niya sa isang Teacher's Aid.

Tinuro niya ang area ng hinahanap niyang Professor. Nakatayo ito at may kinakausap sa telepono. Hinantay niyang matapos ito bago siya kalabitin.

"May papupuntahin ako diyan. Yes, helper mo. Yes, I know the person. Yes. Ano ba?! Bakit ako agad iniinterview mo? They are university student with good reputation, okay?"

". . . ."

"Fine. Bye." pagkababa niya ng telepono ay naramdaman niya ang pagkalabit sa kanyang braso.

Pagtingin niya ay medyo nagulat siya. Hindi katangkaran, hindi rin maliit si Robyn, pero kung tignan siya ng naturang professor ay parang nakakita siya ng nakakatakot ng tao.

"Hello, Prof. I'm Robyn Jacques Park, may available part time daw po kayo for a helper?"

May pag-aalala si Robyn habang nagpapakilala. Ngayon niya lang nakausap ang Professor at hindi niya maintindihan bakit ganun tumingin sa kanya.

"Naghilamos and hindi naman ako madumi tignan bago ako pumunta dito." tahimik na inisip ni Robyn kung bakit ganoon na lamang siya kung tignan.

"Gian?" sambit niya. Nagkatitigan ang dalawa at parang nabigla si Robyn dahil sa pangalang di niya kilala. Biglang umiling si Evan at humingi ng pasensya kay Robyn, "No. Sorry, I mistook your for someone else."

"So, ikaw ba 'yong helper na nirefer ni Jade at Elaine?" tanong niya sa estudyante.

Robyn nodded and he was briefly escorted to a room. He sat down and he was immediately asked by his professor.

Simple questions about his course, grade. It was a brief discussion about he was expected to do once he become a helper of his friend.

He smiled as he was confident on his skills to clean and cook. Knowing he's living alone for some time now.

Evan is also satisfied with the qualifications of Robyn. Since he's a beta, it shouldn't be a problem for Drew and the helper. "But just in case, I better remind him"

"The person you'll be helping with is difficult to handle. He's an alpha, but you should be fine," he said, "This is just an initial interview, my friend wants to meet you and see how you do at work before officially hiring you. Is that okay?"

Robyn is confused when he said  he should be fine but he did not pry any further. Ang tanging nasa isip ngayon ni Robyn ay makuha ang trabahong ito.

Evan took a piece of paper and wrote down an address and simple sketch. He handed the paper to Robyn and said "Here's the address and map on how to get to his house."

Robyn took the paper and thanked the professor after. Sa papel may nakalagay rin kung kailan siya gusto kausapin ng magiging amo niya.

Nakangiti si Robyn na umalis ng staff room at naiwan si Evan na kumplikado ang nararamdaman. Hindi niya inaakalang may taong pwede maging kahawig ng isa pang tao.

Iniisip niya kung nawawalang kambal ba ito ng kakilala niya, pero alam niyang hindi ganoon ang sitwasyon. Tahimik na lang niyang pinagalitan ang sarili at kinumbinsing para rin to sa kaibigan niyang ilang taon ng hindi nakaka-move on.

Evan didn't know he actually made his friend suffer so much that day.

On the day that was stated on the paper, Robyn checked himself a few more times in front of the school's bathroom mirror. He's wearing a white polo shirt and maong shorts. When he's satisfied with how he looks, he left the premise.

He's trying to be confident and presentable as much as possible. He decided that once he got this job, he'll try to quit one of the jobs he have. Its time to focus on his studies and finish the canvas he will show on the exhibition.

He pressed the door bell and afterwards the gate opened. He cautiously went inside and made sure to follow the path towards the door.

He knocked on the door and immediately showed off to his possible new employer.

"Hello, Sir Andrew! I'm Robyn with a 'y' Jacques Park at your service!" he gleefully introduced himself to a dumbfounded person.
