"Mazikeen!"

Mazikeen smiled as she looked back at her younger brother,

"Hey bud, what's up?"

Sam immediately jumped into her open arms as the 17-year-old laughed. Sam smiled,

"Can you show me the robot again?"

Mazikeen smiled softly at her younger brother and nodded,

"Yeah, come on,"

Mazikeen carried Sam to the garage and opened it up to show their parent's car but also a small work bench, Mazikeen put Sam in the chair and opened up a box to show him the small robot that she made,

"Want to see something cool Sammy?"

Sam immediately nodded,

"Yeah!"

Mazikeen smiled and immediately pressed a button on the robot and it's eyes glowed a light blue as if turning on,

"Samuel Witwicky,"

Sam gasped in awe,

"It spoke to me!"

Mazikeen laughed and nodded,

"Sammy, I changed up Rover here a little bit so when I'm gone, you have another friend,"

Sam immediately looked at her in confusion,

"When your gone?"

Mazikeen nodded and knelt in front of him and put Rover in his hand,

"In a few months, I'm leaving...I'm joining the army,"

Sam frowned,

"But why Maze?"

Mazikeen smiled at him and ruffled his hair up as he pouted,

"Because, baby brother, someone has to protect you,"

"B-But...why can't you do it from here like always?"

Mazikeen sighed and put a hand on his shoulder as the 11-year-old stared at her in sadness,

"Because, as much as I love you Sammy, I want to go out and do my own thing...the army is my calling,"

Sam sighed and he felt the robot in his hand pat his arm,

"I don't want you to leave me,"

Mazikeen smiled and nudged Rover,

"Rover is going to be here when I can't,"

Rover saluted,

"I will be with you Sam, to the end of my life,"

Sam nodded shyly,

"Okay,"

Mazikeen smiled and hugged Sam,

"Don't you worry, Sammy, I will never truly leave you,"

Sam smiled and hugged her back, being careful to not squish Rover,

"I know Maze, I love you,"

"I love you too, Sammy,"
