* Flashback to when you and Jaime were 10*

Class ended and it was pouring rain, I didn't know it was gonna rain because of how sunny it looked this morning.
" Need a jacket y/n?" Jaime says handing me his hoodie.
" Yes thank you so much youre a real life saver," I pulled over the hoodie and it smells good, not to be weird but i like the way my best friend smells. " Is your mom getting you or do you have practice?"
" No practice is canceled because the rain and two the gym is taken for the volleyball team. Is your mom picking you up?"
" Yeah but she told me she's gonna be late because dad had the car y'know how that goes," I chuckle.
" If you like did you wanna catch a ride with me my mom doesn't mind really. You can stay at mines or we can just drop you off."
" Can i go to your house?"
" Of course hermosa," Jaimes mom pulled up and she unlocks the door. Jaime told his mom something and she seems fine with it, im guessing its about me going to his place.
On the drive way home I cuddled next to Jaime because hes always so warm, and he makes me feel happy and safe. I told my mom where i was gonna be at and shes fine with it, as soon we got to Jaimes home we took off out wet jackets and shoes and set them by the fireplace. We caught up on homework, had dinner and me and Jaime decided to watch a movie in the front room. I threw on his hoodie again because it was already dried and very warm.
" What do you wanna watch cutie," he asks me.
I blushed, " ummm .. " i looked what was on the list and Grown Ups and Percy Jackson caught my eye, " Well i really wanna see Grown ups and percy jackson."
" We can watch Grown ups tonight and this Friday we can have a sleepover and movie night," he looks down on me with a smile.
" Okayyy sounds good," i smiled wider because whenever we have a sleepover its just so hilarious and fun. Like last time when me and Jaime did a sleepover we were playing soccer and he slipped and fell on his butt and his cheeks looked like he pooped himself.

* End of flashbacks *

I looked inside the box and smiled to myself, all the memories and joy we had when we were young was so amazing and pure. I felt tears well up in my eyes, i wanted to stop but i couldn't help but just letting them fall down my face. Is this what a touch of happiness or joy feels like? Maybe it wouldn't hurt to start myself over again and actually find myself for once in a while. Maybe a change wont really hurt anyone.

Jaime POV

We were on the last box of her room, it wasn't too big or small it was about a regular size box. I sat across from her looking at her features, her hair is so beautiful the way it just falls on her is so gorgeous, the way she styles herself is just immaculate and entertaining to just analyze, her tattoos ... theyre so hot okay yeah theyre goth but who knew y/n can pull tattoos off like her. Gosh and her cute chubby cheeks, its so cute when she smiles or laughs because her dimples shows it makes me crazy, and her eyes. Those beautiful, breathtaking e/c ( eye color ) of hers is just so AUGHHH god Im just so crazy for her. Its  wrong because im in a relationship with Lucy but it feels so fucking right with y/n.
I seen her eyes started to tear up, i didn't know what was in the box she opened it and stared at it. I seem tears fall from her eyes, " y/n hermosa. Are you okay?"
She snapped out of her daze and sniffled a bit, " Yeah uh ," she clears her throat ," I-im fine Jaime. I-its just alot of memories of us is going through my head y'know. And not only that this is our stuff from when we were young."
She took everything out of the box, my heart fluttered but at the same time it wanted to drop. I can believe she kept everything after all these years, we went through our old book we started as kids and my god i missed those days. What if me and her recreate them and continue the book until were old and gray. Maybe i should do that for her as our hangout plans.

Y/n POV

We laughed and laughed at our memories, it was felt amazing to laugh like this again. Its been a while i haven't smiled or laughed this hard, I checked the time and it was already almost 2am, " Holy shitz, um its almost 2 do you have to go home or?"
" Uh yeah I kinda have to go home because I need to see if Oso is okay."
" Who's Oso?"
" Oh my god i didn't even tell you, well starters hes my dog hes a fucking brat and annoying but i absolutely love the shit out of him. One day ill bring you to my place and you two can meet each other, dont worry he wont bite he'll love you i promise."
I smiled, " I cant wait to see him Jaimie."
I walked him downstairs and everyone was already gone, mom she was in her room. She's probably asleep or something but her light is still on, ill ser after i walk Jaime out. We got to the door and honestly i didn't want him to leave, i wanted to stay with him longer. It just feels right with him, Ive never felt anything like this with Dom ok we dated and shit but Jaime, he makes me genuinely happy like the spark is already there and ready to go, the way he makes me feel at ease and comfort. And the way he makes his attention all on me, like i dont have to do something just for him to make him give me the attention.
" I really enjoyed my day with you Jaime, it was amazing to see you again." I smiled.
" I really enjoyed myself too y/n, i really missed you so much. Hell im even happier that you chose to come back
to Texas I honestly thought that Ive lost you forver."
" Good thing mom mentioned about me coming here because honestly if it wasn't for mom i would've been looking for a small apartment in cali, and on top of that ive been thinking about cruising to Texas anyways. But hey were in a win-win situation."
" Im glad your mom did mention Texas again, and of course you thinking about it too because y/n everything changed when you were gone, and it wasn't the same without you."
I smiled and blushed at his sweetfull words, " can i hug you Jaime."
" Of course you can love, never need to ask me."
I wrapped my arms around his neck and his arm around my body. My heart jumped, slammed, shit even damn nearly exploded when we made contact. All my worries, troubles, stress, anxiety even my depression felt like everything went away. As if i never even had these problems with me, it felt like it was in slow motion. Im in his arms again, this moment right here and now is everything i can imagine.
" I missed you so mich y/n."
" I missed you too Jaime," my voice cracked a bit.
" Hey shhh, its okay dont cry. Everything is gonna be okay i promise you, youre home now with the rest of us. Dont worry about cali, i know you made friends there but they'll be okay just keep contact and everything will be alright."
I sniffled, " okay." We pulled away and we were insanely close like if were about to kiss. I slowly pulled back, its too early for me and him to be doing anything we just reunited again, im not going to rush anything. I want to make everything right with Jaime, i dont wanna ruin or lose my best friend ever again. " You gotta go Jaime, ill call you or text you when my things are here."
" Sounds good hermosa, goodnight sleep well okay. You definitely deserve it y/n."
" I will i promise, you drive safe and be careful going home. Tell Oso I said hello and ill be seeing you soon."
" Of course I will love."
I smiled and blushed again for the fucking millionth time already ," see ya Jaime. "
" See ya around beautiful."
He started walking to his car, i waited for him to get in his car before going to see mom if shes awake. As soon he got inside his car i shut the door and locked up, i went upstairs to see if mom was okay and turns out she's asleep. I turned off the light and lowered her TV and took the throw blanket on the edge of the bed and a pillow that was on the floor, i quietly walked out and shutting her door and went to the couch.

3rd POV

Jaime was sitting in his car thinking about y/n; whilst y/n was already thinking of Jaime. They both smiled of the eventful day, the memories of their childhood flooded their minds; the laughter, the jokes, the funny moments they had with one another, then leading today. Seeing each other again the two goofy duos reunited once again. Both smiled and wished they stayed together but they both knew theyre gonna see each other again eventually, as Jaime drives home reminiscing the moment of today y/n closes her eyes and let the happy thoughts take over.
