After a week of rest and recovery, Luna was finally able to return to her duties. As she was working, Rosella approached her with a peculiar look on her face. "Luna," she began, her voice low, "I've heard some rumors going around the castle."

Luna looked at Rosella, curiosity piqued. "What kind of rumors?" she asked.

Rosella hesitated for a moment before continuing. "There's talk that the princes have been visiting you frequently, bringing you fruits and spending time with you because they... well, they like you. And some are even saying that you and Prince Eclipse are having an affair."

Luna felt her heart drop. She had hoped to keep her interactions with the princes discreet, but it seemed that the castle staff had noticed their frequent visits. She knew she needed to address these rumors, but she also knew she had to tread carefully to avoid causing further complications.

"Thank you for telling me, Rosella," Luna said, her voice steady despite the turmoil she felt inside. "I'll handle this."

As Rosella nodded and walked away, Luna couldn't help but feel a sense of dread. She knew she was about to face one of the biggest challenges of her life, and she could only hope that she was ready for it.

Determined to put an end to the rumors and regain some semblance of normalcy, Luna made a conscious effort to avoid Prince Eclipse and Orion. She would take different routes around the castle, leave her room earlier than usual, and even skip meals to avoid running into them.

However, despite her best efforts, the princes seemed to always find a way to cross paths with her. They would appear in the hallways she was passing through, stand in the courtyards she frequented, and even show up at the royal kitchen when she was there. It was as if they were always one step ahead of her, always managing to be in the same place at the same time.

Yet, despite their constant presence, they couldn't seem to interact with her. Luna was always quick to excuse herself, leaving the princes with nothing more than a fleeting glance or a polite nod. It was a strange game of cat and mouse, with Luna constantly on the move and the princes always trailing behind.

As the days passed, Luna hoped that her actions would send a clear message to the princes. She needed space and time to figure things out, and she hoped they would respect her wishes and give her the peace she so desperately needed.

The rumors about Luna and the princes had taken a turn for the worse. Whispers echoed through the castle corridors, accusing Luna of using the princes for their wealth and planning to abandon them. The rumors were hurtful and completely unfounded, and Luna felt her heart sink as she heard them.

In a state of shock and distress, Luna found herself running away, seeking refuge in a dark room. "I've messed up everything," she murmured to herself, her voice barely a whisper in the darkness.

Suddenly, the room was bathed in light as someone turned on the lights. Luna blinked, her eyes adjusting to the sudden brightness. As her vision cleared, she found herself staring at Prince Eclipse. His room. She had unknowingly sought refuge in his room.

As Luna turned to leave, Eclipse reached out and grabbed her hand. With a swift motion, he pulled her towards him, her back slamming against the door. His hands were on either side of her, effectively blocking her escape. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked, his voice low.

Luna looked up at him, her heart pounding in her chest. She could feel her cheeks heating up as she realized how close they were. She was trapped, both by Prince Eclipse and by the rumors that were spiraling out of control.

As Eclipse realized the closeness of their faces, he quickly straightened up, his cheeks flushing a bright red. He looked away, clearly embarrassed by the unexpected intimacy of the situation.

"W-what a-are you doing here?" he stammered, his voice barely above a whisper. His gaze remained averted, his blush deepening.

Luna, still leaning against the door, watched him in surprise. She had never seen Prince Eclipse so flustered before. It was a stark contrast to his usually composed and confident demeanor, and it made Luna realize just how complicated their situation had become.

"I didn't know that it was your room," Luna replied, her voice soft. She pushed herself off the door, creating some distance between them.

Eclipse finally turned to look at her, his blush fading. "We need to talk," he said, his tone serious. "About the rumors."

Luna nodded, her heart heavy. She had been hoping to avoid this conversation, but she knew it was inevitable. The rumors were getting out of hand, and they needed to address them.

As they sat down to talk, Luna and Eclipse decided to find out who had started the rumors. They knew it wouldn't be an easy task, but they were determined to clear Luna's name and put an end to the gossip. They didn't know what lay ahead, but they were ready to face it together.

Unbeknownst to Luna and Eclipse, Aurora had been passing by Eclipse's room and had overheard their conversation. She had stopped in her tracks, her curiosity piqued by their hushed tones and serious expressions.

As she listened, Aurora learned about their plan to find the source of the rumors. She felt a pang of guilt for having doubted Luna, and a sense of admiration for the way Luna and Eclipse were handling the situation. They were showing maturity and determination, qualities that Aurora respected.

However, Aurora also felt a sense of unease. She knew that finding the source of the rumors could lead to conflict and discord within the castle. She decided to keep an eye on the situation, ready to step in if things escalated. Little did Luna and Eclipse know that they now had an unexpected ally in their quest for the truth.
