Yunlan slept a long time and Wei made breakfast for the cats and Yunlan. He made coffee (borrowed from Lin last night) and tea, rolled eggs with rice and vegetables.
Yunlan got up and went to the counter to sit and watch Wei.
"Why is there a suitcase packed in our room?"
Wei put the coffee cup in front of Yunlan. "How are you now?"
"I'm good. Why is there a suitcase in our bedroom?"
"Do you feel sore?"
"A little. Why is there a suitcase in our bedroom?"
"I'm going to Mofah's ranch and get more evidence. I will send Lianjie to Rome to be with the boss."
"Did you pack my clothes too?"
"No. You should stay here and rest. You were stabbed too many times and need to study the Talismans anyway."
"I'm going with you. You healed me, there's nothing wrong with me now. We've been through this. Teleport me to the tack room and when Lianjie leaves, I will come search for the evidence."

He walked around the counter when Wei put the food on it and kissed him, a long and sloppy kiss. "Just say yes, okay? We're a team."
Wei agreed and packed a backpack for Yunlan. Zhao dressed in a jacket and tie in case he was seen by Lianjie. They said goodbye to Da and the dog and cats.
"Make sure to contact Shen Wei's guards to come and get the culprits. I'm sure they are undergrounders, and the guards can question them."
"Yes Chief, I'm on it."
Wei called Lianjie. "I'm coming home for a while. Can you go watch over the boss?" Lianjie agreed.
"I will get a flight as soon as possible."
"Don't worry, he is well guarded."
"Oh, okay." Lianjie sounded disappointed. "I'll try to get a flight today."
When they were in the tack room, Lianjie called Wei. "I'm leaving now. The other guard is doing rounds on the property."
"Okay." Wei had loosened Yunlan's tie in anticipation of a little hanky-panky. While he was about to undo his shirt buttons, they heard horses snorting and the loud sound of boots walking toward the room.
"Play along with me. Put your hands up." Wei gestured at him.
Wei got a gun off the wall and pointed it at Yunlan. Yunlan saw that the safety was on. "Don't move, mister!" Wei yelled.
