"Lord Envoy, this is too much blood. He may go into shock. You should take him to hospital for a transfusion just to be sure.
"You're right." Shen Wei called Chu. "Can you set up a transfusion from me to the Chief, or should I take him to hospital for that? I already healed the wounds. He lost a lot of blood."
Bring him to the lab where we have the equipment and I'll do it right now." Chu lived close to SID and ran there faster than if he got a cab.
Wei picked up Yunlan in his arms and Da Qing put a blanket over him wrapping it around his legs. They went through the portal to the lab. Chu arrived in a few minutes and set up an IV tube from Wei's arm to Yunlan's. Wei stood and made his blood drip faster into Yunlan. Chu stuck an IV with saline into Yunlan's hand.
"Ow, thanks Chu." Chu nodded at him and took his pulse.
"I can't tell how much you are giving him, but a pint and a half would be enough, My Lord. Don't overdo it and don't make drip too fast."
Wei told Chu when to stop the transfer and he sat next to Yunlan on a chair holding his hand.
Yunlan smiled at him and squeezed his hand. "I'm okay now, thank you for your contribution. You will receive a handsome reward soon - me."
"You go to sleep to finish healing, okay, Beloved? Do you want to go back home?"
Chu prepared some herbal tea to help blood circulation made from beetroot powder. "Drink this before you go, and then again tomorrow morning, make tea and drink it throughout the day." He handed the jar of powder to Wei and put the teapot on a table.
"Keep him warm and hydrated, Hei Pao Shi." The wounds are healed, and his pulse is good, so I don't think there is any damage, but he's weak and needs to rest after this loss of blood."
"Thanks, Chu. You will get a large bonus this month." Yunlan sat up on his own to drink the tea. When he finished he stood and hugged Wei. "Take me home."
Wei felt him sag a little in his arms as he teleported home. He put him in bed after a shower and a change into pajamas.
Yunlan held Wei's arm as he placed him in bed. "I want you here with me, huh?"
"Okay, my Love. Let's go to sleep again."
"If you insissstuh- m...." Yunlan fell asleep while talking.
Da Qing came in and reported that Longwei was standing guard at the kennel. Duke Under-the-Eaves was guarding the cat palace from the roof. "All is good now. We can resume our rest." He didn't realize the chief was already asleep.
"Thanks, Da," Shen Wei whispered.
Da jumped up in cat form next to Yunlan, and Frisky loudly inquired what happened before laying next to Shen Wei.
"It's all good, brother, we can nap again." Da Qing spoke in cat language and Frisky laid against Wei's back and began purring.
