Da Qing chopped the man's neck through the open window, knocking him out. He called the police and then SID night watch arrived. He ran to Yunlan on the ground.
"Master, are you okay?"
Yunlan gasped, "No, I, uh, d-d-don't think so," he whispered and passed out from pain in Wei's arms.
"Xiao Lan! Stay with me, wake up! Open your eyes." Wei teleported Yunlan to their flat and laid him on the bed.
Yunlan woke up and groaned. "Goddammit! Frell this dren." He fought to keep his eyes open for Wei, but passed out again.
Meanwhile, Guo and Lin helped Da Qing secure the place. Da was worried about Yunlan but he made a puppy laugh before putting him in the kennel.

They put all the animals back and checked all the pups and dogs and cats for injuries. Guo carried the older dog to his kennel. "He's 3 years old, I don't know what the man did to make him pass out. " Guo laid the dog on the paved aisle. "I'll stay with him until he recovers, you go check on the Chief. Longwei can stay in the kennel to guard it."

Wei took off Yunlan's shirt and sweatpants. He saw 5 stab wounds on his chest, shoulder, rib cage and abdomen. All were bleeding profusely except the rib area.
He stopped the bleeding and ran to get antibiotic cream from their little first aid kit. He put the ointment on the wounds and closed them one by one.
Yunlan woke up in the middle of healing and stared at Wei. He took a deep shaky breath. "Am I okay now, Wei? I think I'm fine now, right?."
"You'll be fine. I'm almost done. Don't move, just lie there for a while, Hmm?" Wei smoothed his hair off his sweaty face.
"Okay, you talked me into it. How is Longwei?"
Da Qing came in and raised his eyebrows, seeing so much blood pooled on Yunlan's clothes and body.
"He's fine. Da, help me clean this up." Shen Wei started wiping the blood with the sheet he'd laid Yunlan on.
