Script 11: Act without the lines blurring

Start from the beginning

Sakura was quick to slap him on the shoulder. The slapping sound was loud but with Soobin suddenly laughing, they knew Sakura didn't slap him too hard.

"Hey, don't say things like that." It was obvious that Sakura said that as a warning.

She glances at Chaewon for a second, trying to see her reaction to what Soobin said but she looks emotionless.

It was as if she refused to show her true reaction to Soobin's words.

"Yeah, Bin... how are you even sure that she's injured?" Sunghoon shoots him a look as a warning. Sunghoon was basically telling him to be mindful of the words he'd be saying next.

Soobin looks at them one by one before staring at Chaewon who seemed to be looking far away. It seemed as if she wasn't even listening in on their conversation.

"That's just my assumption," he raises both of his hands up as if telling them to calm down. "She had so many of those patches on her body, you can't blame me for thinking that she might be injured."

While what he was saying was true, he does feel bad about suddenly saying that out of nowhere.

Knowing that Jaeyun got injured, they can't really afford to lose Yunjin now that she has taken over Jaeyun's role already.

Not when rehearsals are ongoing and they're almost finished with rehearsing the whole play.

They need Yunjin to be in good condition.

As theater club members, they need her to be okay and as Yunjin's schoolmates, they're worried about her.

They don't know about what Chaewon thinks, though. She's been awfully quiet ever since they started talking about Yunjin.

"You know, what? Let's just go and eat. I'm pretty sure Yunjin would be out on the court, playing for the next round." Wonyoung tries to lighten up the mood and thankfully, that kind of worked as they all started walking again.

Wonyoung walks slower than the two boys and matches Chaewon's speed, "Are you okay? Are you worried about Yunjin-"

"I'm not." She immediately spat which caught the younger girl off guard.

"Sorry..." Chaewon mumbles after a second, realizing her sudden behavior towards Wonyoung.

Wonyoung sighs, "It's alright, unnie." She wraps an arm around her, "Yunjin's fine. She looked fine! You don't have to worry about losing a partner again."

Chaewon sighs as Wonyoung misinterprets her answer. She wasn't worried about Yunjin. She wasn't worried about losing a partner either.

If anything, she was perfectly fine with losing Yunjin as a partner. She has to choose between Heeseung, Jongseong, and Yeonjun again if that happens, though but she thinks she'll be able to go through it.

And the younger girl was sweet and all but Chaewon doesn't even understand what she's feeling right now. If she was concerned about Yunjin...

She probably wasn't. Probably.

Or if she was just kind of irritated about the fact that she's there and Yunjin isn't even playing.

Talk about showing support.

Chaewon offers Wonyoung a smile and they keep walking until-

"Chaewon!"

The short-haired girl felt her heart drop. Out of all the voices she wanted to hear today, this person's voice is surely not one of them.

She winces, closing her eyes when she heard her name being called, "Fucking hell." She mumbled and by this time, everyone had already turned their heads except for Chaewon.
