I miss you like the moon
misses the stars on a cloudy dayLike the empty pond misses the ducks
that have migrated for the winterAnd these cold nights miss
the sound of crickets in the ambience
of their darknessLike a single flower,
in a vast meadow full of weeds,
misses the company of a thousand of its kind,
or just a single oneAnd on days where we don't talk as much,
I miss how things were in the beginningThough even when we do have conversations for hours,
I only miss you even moreBecause you are not within my grasp
My heart cries out to you, just thinking about it
To me you're like an oasis and I am just the desert
Your water fills my emptiness,
the part of me that's been vacant
for a long timeDrown me in your beautiful words,
For that would be the loveliest way to die.🎀🤍🐣☁️
