Script 10: Practice game

She hears Minji singing the lyrics at the end of the song. She strums harder than before. She sees the numbers and words from her exam earlier. She sees Egg Sheeran, their egg baby, and suddenly her guitar pick falls somewhere on the floor.

Yunjin doesn't look for it, she continues to play the guitar instead. She couldn't feel her fingers, her whole hand felt cold.

The classical fantasy song that they used during theater rehearsals started blasting in her left ear and she started mouthing the lyrics of the French song. Singing along to it quietly.

She hears her name being called out, her fingers get caught on one string but she recovers quickly.

Chaewon's face flashes before her eyes and she hears her call out her name, "Huh Yunjin." She sounded angry and Yunjin pressed the wrong chord on accident-

And Chaewon was calling her, repeatedly. Chaewon was calling out her name. Her damn name, she needed to stop playing and look up.

She hears Chaewon's voice one last time, calling her by her full name and she mutters Chaewon's name back.

"Chaewon- " She weakly calls out.

Her body felt heavy when she spoke and-

"Yunjin!" She heard everyone's voice all at once before everything turned dark.

As soon as Yunjin passed out, everyone rushed towards her. Luckily, Minji was quick and she caught Yunjin before her head collided with the floor.

All of them sighed out in relief when Minji held her up before they all helped her carry Yunjin. At first, they didn't know what to do.

They didn't know if they should let Yunjin rest on the couch inside their practice room or take her to the nurse or just take her home.

Kazuha thought it would be better to take her home.

Yujin was quick to agree and told everyone to pack up immediately before they took Yunjin to her car. Ryujin had to drive Yunjin's car as everyone came along.

Kazuha sent Yunjin's parents a text but it seemed that they didn't notice her message as they were surprised when Minji knocked on their door, a bit panicked.

Yunjin's dad immediately rushed out of the house when he saw his daughter getting carried out of the car. His eyes were wide and he was frowning as he took Yunjin into his arms and ran back inside as fast as he could.

"What happened? Did she get hurt? Did she fall? Does she have any injuries?" Yunjin's mother was panicking as she asked the questions all in one go.

Minjeong had to grip Minji's sweater as Yujin stepped in to answer Yunjin's mom's questions, "It's alright, Auntie. She's not hurt. She might have passed out due to over-fatigue."

And Yunjin's mom immediately calmed down.

"She'll be alright, Auntie. Yunjin was just being stubborn. She didn't rest the whole day and pushed herself to practice until she passed out." Kazuha said with a huff, looking irritated as she looked at Yunjin who was being nursed by her dad.

Yunjin's mom made them all stay for a while. She prepared food for them and they waited until Yunjin was transferred to sleep in her own room.

Everyone left soon after except Kazuha. Yunjin's dad was kind enough to drive them all home. Kazuha wanted to stay for a while to check up on Yunjin.

Which is why Kazuha was still there. Sitting on Yunjin's chair, scrolling through her phone as she checked up on Yunjin from time to time.
