"Mein toh uske saath srif khel rahi hu mujhe nahi pata tha ke wo itna serious ho jayega mujhe leke."
(I'm just playing with him, I didn't know that he'll be this serious regarding me.)

Reyansh's heart dropped, he gulped the lump in hi throat. "I-i don't believe you." He stammered.

"We both know who's voice this is Rey! Stop denying the fact that she said this to you!"

He stood there blank, not knowing what to do. "Give me a chance Reyansh I'll never back bite you or play with you, please."

She said hugging him while faking her care towards him and smiling secretly. He pushed her and looked at her.

"Stay away from me. I don't and I won't ever believe you once! She can't say this about me! She will never do so don't bother!"

"Fine! Ask her yourself tomorrow!" She walked away with a proud smirk on her face, knowing she was successful with her plan.

Reyansh took a taxi and rushed home, the first thing he did was to call her. 'the person you are calling is currently unavailable, please try again later'

"Please Shivani, pick up my call, please." He begged looking at the phone, feeling uneasy.

"Reyansh beta nicha aa." Lakshmi shouted from downstairs.
(Reyansh dear, come down)

"Coming maa, two minutes!"

He said and dialled her number again but it was unreachable. "Please call me back."

He said going downstairs, seeing him worried Lakshmi asked, "what's wrong beta?"

"Um, that, Shivani.." He took a long pause thinking whether to tell them or not.

"Ha, Shivani Canada jaa rahi hai aaj raat ki flight se, batayi thi Savita ne." He blinked trying to digest whatever was said.
(Yes, Shivani is going to Canada from today's flight, Savita told)

How can she go without telling him about all this? Isn't he her friend? Isn't he her crush? He nodded hesitantly as if he already knew.

"Achi bachi hai wo, padh likh kar naam roshan karne walo me se hai. Par itni dur akele nahi bhejna chahiye Savita ko." Gauri said. Tears filling in Reyansh's eyes but he looked down to hide it.
(She's a good girl, one of those who will make a name. But Savita shouldn't have send her alone)

"Why didn't you tell me?" He whispered to himself, trying to control himself from crying.

Days passed by, Reyansh was still going to his college, not because he wanted to but he had to. It was almost half a year since Shivani left.

Shanaya never left a chance to be around him whenever she could be it in front of his friends or classmates.

The changes in him didn't go unnoticed by his family and today is the day when they'll clear things with him.

"Hume Shanaya ne sab bata diya h Reyansh. Mujhe nahi pata tha wo aisi harkat kar sakti hai. Tu tension mat le, wo sahi ladki nahi-" He stood up in anger and banged his fist on the table and replied to Gauri.
(Shanaya told us everything Reyansh. I didn't know that she'll do this. Don't worry she isn't a right girl)

"Wo sahi ladki hai, thi aur rahegi! Jisne aapko ye sab boli hai wo khud har dusre ladke ke paas jaati hai!"
(She is, was and will be a right girl! The girl who told you all this is the one who goes to every other guy)
