Script 9: Rehearsals

Start from the beginning

"Well, sorry if my girlfriend is only friends with the hottest jocks in school?" The taller girl had a smug look on her face and her statement alone triggered Chaewon's entire being.

Her face contorts into a disgusting expression before gagging. Jimin rolls her eyes at her.

"You really are a theater club member. People say you're amazing at what you do for a reason I guess. Dramatic ass."

"I can't believe you're the president of the Journalism club." Chaewon sighs as she sits down on a bench nearby.

They were out in the field, usually, the football team would be occupying this spot but not today, no. The coaches were kind enough to give them a few days off to celebrate their hard work and their win.

Chaewon does think they deserve the day off. She just can't say the same with the cheerleaders, though.

Jimin wasn't only the insufferable and annoying Journalism club leader, she's also a part of the cheerleading team with Isa.

They're accompanied by their cute and loud cheer captain, Bae Sumin who, coincidentally is also head over heels for the theater club's president, Park Sieun.

The short-haired girl would be snickering every time she was reminded of the fact. Not only is Park Sieun running the theater club like the military, but she is also the most dense and oblivious person on earth.

At least according to Chaewon and her friends.

Maybe Sieun is just too busy with the theater club to notice Sumin's heart eyes but even Chaewon isn't that oblivious.

Or so she says she isn't.

Sumin isn't even trying to hide it. She could just walk around telling everyone how much she adores Park Sieun and the latter would still not have a clue.

"Look at Ms. Lee Chaeyoung." Jimin points out and Chaewon immediately looks around to look for Chaeyoung among the other cheerleaders.

She finds her eventually. Her eyes were slightly squinted and looking up at the bleachers. She was more focused on what was on the bleachers than what Sumin was telling the others.

"What is she looking at?" The short-haired girl mumbles and Jimin taps her shoulder, causing her to look up at the cheerleader. Jimin was pointing up towards the bleachers and Chaewon followed where she was pointing at.

There was a small crowd up on the bleachers, she covered her eyes to protect her vision from the harsh sunlight and she found all the photography club members standing up, holding their own cameras but only a few were actually taking pictures.

"So all of these are also being documented?" Chaewon asks and Jimin hums before nodding.

"The journalism and photography club always have to work together and since we publish newspapers weekly, they have to keep themselves busy every week."

Chaewon slowly nods at Jimin's explanation, still watching the photography club do their work up on the bleachers.

"But that's not the point- look," Jimin taps Chaewon's shoulder again and now she sees Yoon Seeun with her slowly fading blue-colored hair up on the bleachers, fiddling quietly with her camera.

"Seeun again? Why can't Isa just talk to her." Chaewon huffs as she fixes her bangs, still looking up at Seeun.

Jimin scoffs before laughing, turning her gaze down towards Chaewon with a slight smirk on, "You're one to talk."

The shorter girl raised an eyebrow at her as she said, "What do you mean? It's not like me and Isa have the same problem. The two of them used to be friends, me and Huh Yunjin aren't."
