Vetri sees blood coming from Abi and roars "Abi" and is about to attack the policemen. Abi holds his hand and falls down on the floor.
Meanwhile Kabilan and other policemen take control of the situation.
Poo: Dei! Vetri! Unakku onnum illaiye! Abi! Abimma! Dei! Abiya gavani da!
V: (takes Abi on his lap) Abi! Abi! Ei! Ennai paarudi! Kabilan Sir! Ambulance venum! Hospital phone pannunga! Naan Abiya koottitu poren.
Ambulance arrives. Vetri takes Abi to the hospital and tells the doctor that she got hit both on her shoulder and head. They take her in for treatment and Poongavanam reaches the hospital. Vetri hugs him and cries.
Poo: Dei! Vetri! Abikku onnum agathuda! Kavalai padathe! Unnaiyum thaneda adichanga! Nee vaa! Unakkum treatment pannanum.
V: Anne! Enakku onnum illainne! Abikku enna aachunnu mothalla theriyanumne!
Poo: Nee inga valiyoda ukkanthiruntha Abikku sariyagiduma? Nee nalla iruntha thaneda Abiyai pathukka mudiyum? Kan muzhichathum, Abi enkitta Annana latchanama unnai treatmentukku en othukka vaikkalainnu kochukkum. Avalukkaga doctortta kattu!
He calls a nurse to get a doctor to check on Vetri. Vetri tries to call someone over the phone but is in obvious pain.
Poo: Dei! Yaarukkuda phone panre? Ungappa vanthittu irukkaru! Avarttaye Judge Sirtta solla sollitten. TVlayum news oduthuda! Naan inga thaan irukken. Ethunnallum naan pathukkaren. Nee konjam rest eduda!
V: Anne! Abiyoda Annan Tarunukku phone pannanum. TVla pathuttu Vijimma, paappa, Tarun ellam bayappaduvanga! avaru neurologist. Abiyai avaru check pannanum.
Right then, Vetri gets a call from Tarun.
Tar: Vetri! Enna achu? TVla ippo than pakkaren. Abi eppadi irukka? Neenga? Entha hospital? Naan ippove varen.
V: Tarun! Enakku onnum illai! Abikku thaan nalla adi. Neenga vanthu konjam pakkareengala? Vijimmava kavalai padavenamnu sollunga! Naanga vara varaikkum neengalum Vijimmavum paappava pathukkonga!
After X-rays, the doctor declares that Vetri has contusion only, gives him painkillers and advises rest. Vetri refuses to take the pills before knowing about Abi. Meanwhile, Vetri's parents and Abi's parents come to the hospital.
Kam: Dei enna da ippadi adi pattirukku? Abiya TVla pathen! Ava ippo intha Oorla irukkaannu sollave illai? Ennada nadakkuthu?
AN: Kamala! Avane valila irukkan. Nee vera avanai paduthathe!
SN: enna aachu Vetri? Ungalukku eppadi irukku? Abi eppadi irukka?
Poo: Judge Sir! Ellam amaithiya poikittu irunthathu! Ana thideernu rendu moonu policekaranga Vetriya thalli vittutu adichanga. Avanai kaappathapoi Abikku romba balamana adi pattuduchu! Doctorukku wait panrom. Vetrikku oomai kaayam than! Rest edukkanum. Abikku enna achunnu theriyama rest edukka maattengaran!
AN: Dei! Valikkuthada? Nee vena rest eduda! Naanga vanthu Doctor vanthathum solrom.
