Script 8: Chance

Ahn Yujin is famous among girls and she's also famous for having difficult drills and having such strict schedules.

As they watch Yujin walk towards their coach, Minji gives Yunjin a gentle fist bump with a smile stretched across her lips. "We'll watch the performance, we know you'll do great."

Kazuha playfully slaps her shoulders as a show of support while Minjeong and Ryujin ruffle up her hair. She whines but doesn't do anything to stop them.

After the initial assault that her friends did on her poor hair, Yunjin fixes her hair and tries her best to straighten it while she talks more with her friends. Yujin got caught up in the two coach's conversation and was yet to return.

"You know how hard you have to train to catch up with us when you miss a few practices for theater club rehearsals? You'll die out here." Minjeong says as she ties her shoes more tightly.

"I know, Yujin might just kill me this time around." Yunjin jokes and they all laugh as they watch Yujin talking and smiling with their coach.

"And we're competing against ACE Academy. If we're not careful enough, we might lose, and-" Minji stops to lower her voice, "I'm not saying they would but with the shit that their football team pulled with Jaeyun? It's hard to think that their other sports teams wouldn't be able to do the same to us."

ACE Academy was the same academy that their football team competed against. It was also the same team that purposely injured Jaeyun. The said academy is currently facing backlash as they're more known and are excelling better than SCE Academy. It would make sense that the media would cover the incident with both the academies rising in the ranks and catching up with other bigger universities and academies.

Currently, the netizens are on SCE Academy's side as it is obvious that they were the victim if Jaeyun's current condition wasn't telling enough.

"I don't think they'd dare to pull the same thing again... unless they're that desperate to win against us," Ryujin responds as she stretches her arms up in the air.

"Plus- if they do injure one of us, they'd be basically giving up their spot on the ranks. They may win and may be more known than our academy but having a bad record like that would definitely sabotage their reputation as a whole." Yunjin listens in on their conversation as Kazuha joins the discussion.

It is quite scary to think that they may end up like the football team. Only one of them would be unlucky to have what happened to Jaeyun happen to them.

And Yunjin hopes that none of that happens to them. She might even be okay with losing just so they'd end that match alive and well.

As Yunjin lets her eyes wander to the other side of the court, she sees Yeonjun beckoning her to come over. He has a small smile on his lips and it doesn't look like he's up to tease Yunjin.

It looks more like he has something to discuss with her more than anything.

"I'll be right back." She says but before she leaves their side of the court, she takes a short glance towards Yujin who is still caught up in between the two couch's conversation. She doesn't look like she's bored, though. If anything, she looks more interested.

So she jogs towards the other side as her friends wave her off before continuing their conversation about ACE Academy and all the things they've done throughout all their matches for this year.

"What's up?" Yunjin spoke as soon as she was standing in front of Yeonjun. He doesn't say anything at first but only nods towards a different direction. Yunjin naturally turned her head toward the direction Yeonjun was making her look at, she saw Jaeyun there talking with Jongseong and Heeseung.
