Bols: Don't be rude. Sure Wave beat you up and you tried to kill him, but he still helped us. He hid you guys.
Jin: Fine. He did do some help.
Kurome then sheathes her sword and Bols outlines some things.
Bols: Now, you'll have to hide your faces, but also keep up those disguises. Stay an archaeologist and blacksmith. Esdeath?
Esdeath: I shall be Tatsumi's wife!
Tatsumi: No! I have a girlfriend!
Jin: It's true. Her name's Akame.
Kurome: Let me see.
Tatsumi pulls up a watch and it shows pictures of Tatsumi and Akame together. There was one where they captured a Golden Egg to make an omelet, which the whole Night Raid group ate afterward; one with Tatsumi and Akame over a canyon; and one of them kissing.
Bols: Sorry, Esdeath. My advice only works on single people. Not people in a relationship. Don't worry. Besides. There are plenty of fish in the sea.
Kurome: Mmmmm. Fish.
Bols: Oh. I'm sorry. Fish is what Wave's town specializes in. I live near a digging village. Quite successful too. Many miners dig up fossils, gold, or gemstones. However, taxes made us lose some wealth. I used to be part of a smelting plant which melted down ore into gemstones and more. Then, when I found Rubicante, I became a valuable worker there. I originally only wanted to stay a smelter. But I remember when I first got hired to be part of the Incendiary Squad. Is it ok if I tell a story?
Kurome: We do have to wait a while until we reach the town. Everyone?
Tatsumi, Jin, and Esdeath: Why not?
Bols: I was in the smelting plant and suddenly, a Rock Danger Beast came attacking.

Bols: It was destroying everything. No one would stop it. I had no idea what to do. Then suddenly, I didn't know what got into me, but I blasted Rubicante on the monster.
Tatsumi: That was brave of you!
Esdeath: Indeed.
Jin: Also, kind of stupid. Who rushes in without a plan?
Esdeath punches his shoulder and so does Tatsumi but Jin felt nothing as Bols continued his story.
Bols: It was stupid. But I couldn't just leave people there to die. So I just kept burning it down until it became nothing more than magma. I was celebrated as a local hero. And fun fact, my wife was down there with a friend who was visiting her husband. She tripped on a gemstone and was about to be eaten, but I grabbed her, put her a safe distance, and burned it! That was how I got my wife! Pure selflessness and heroism! They had a dinner in my honor, and I started becoming part of the Incendiary Squad. After a while, I became the captain of it, and then a Jaeger!
