Script 7: Take the spot

Start from the beginning

They both know she likes Chaewon.

And they know that Yunjin is a bad liar.

"Well, shocked, obviously. Did you know how badly I panicked when I saw them coming in? It was the worst feeling ever!" The tall redhead said with a dramatic and loud groan.

"She asked me to help her take over the counter when they came in," Chaemin says with a chuckle before calling out the orders of the customers that just came in.

Minjeong laughs at the thought of Yunjin asking the older boy for help, "I don't blame you. Not when you're.." She pauses and stares directly at Yunjin's questioning eyes before continuing, "You know. You and then...Chaewon."

Aeri laughs, "Your feelings." She helps Minjeong and Yunjin almost hides her face at the mention. But she smiles awkwardly with her eyes squinted, almost looking like she's cringing.

Aeri offers her an apologetic smile as Minjeong pats her shoulder over the counter in an attempt to comfort her, "You're alright, bud." she mumbles.

But the action does very little to Yunjin. She still appreciates it, though.

"I'll see you at practice, alright?" Yunjin could only nod at Minjeong.

"You and the others better be at my volleyball match," Aeri squints her eyes at her while pointing. Yunjin chuckles and throws her hands up in the air.

"We'll be there, Aeri." And that was enough to make the Japanese girl smile.

Chaewon actually feels tired of getting courted. By three boys at that.

She was fine with Heeseung thinking that a date might work but she didn't think that making her fall in love with one of them was a part of the plan. She was horrified to hear such a thing.

Sure, falling in love with one of them can make their chemistry look more natural. More genuine and more on feelings alone, they don't need to act if they're genuinely head over heels for one another.

But the thing is, Chaewon will never like any of them.

They may be handsome but Chaewon can't settle for looks alone, especially when she already knows that this is all a part of their plan to get that damn role. It's like playing with her feelings.

No one would like to hear that. No one would hear it and think it's romantic. It's a bribe more than anything.

She wasn't even sure how everyone found out about what Heeseung was doing. It was either someone in that damn cafe they went on a date in, saw them, and spread the information around or it was Lee Heeseung being overly confident and proud.

Knowing SCE Academy's journalism club, they never miss out on any of the tea.

Their school newspaper is literally filled with it, she doesn't even know how they get approved and printed and passed around. It can be very harmful to a student. But of course, as long as Yu Jimin is the one leading, no one will get in trouble.

She checks all the information to see if it will be harmful to the students. Apparently not this information about Chaewon, though.

The news about Heeseung asking Chaewon out on a date and possibly "courting" her spread around the school like wildfire. They were the talk of the whole academy and no one knew how to extinguish the growing fire that is the rumor of them being possibly together by the end of the year.

And of course, both Choi Yeonjun and Park Jongseong didn't want to get left out. They had to force Heeseung to confess his plans before the two started their own move on Chaewon.
