SUPERHEROES HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PUBLIC FIGURES, AND THE JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA ALWAYS KNEW THAT WAS GOING TO COME BACK AND BITE THEM IN THE ASSES SOMEDAY... THEY JUST DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS GOING TO be so soon. Then they (well it was mostly J'onn, Dinah and Diana, but Clark had been encouraging them to make things more of a team effort so they treat it like it was a team effort) came up with the idea of using some of their respective sidekicks to carry out missions that they couldn't. Especially since governments around the world were tying their hands behind their backs with thinly veiled lies and red tape, and the public was always watching them. Surprisingly Bruce Wayne was the one to disagree. Eventually he came around, but it still confused the fuck out of anyone who didn't really know Gotham's infamous Dark Knight or why he would be reluctant to send his two children and godchildren on missions without him being there to bail them out. And while the Justice League was assembling their sidekicks for the greater good of the planet, the Light was assembling young apprentices to do the exact opposite.
