I cupped my rough, mucky hands and placed them into the shallow water carpet. Suddenly, both my hands were engulfed by the cold, salty, dirty liquid and I lifted them up, before throwing the retrieved water over my face.

I moaned slightly at the feel of the freezing water before I rubbed it over my dry face and my greasy hair. Megan was sat beside Robert tapping her foot and creating ripples in the water. We'd only been in here for two days, but it had seemed like 3 weeks.

Something pondered on my cloudy mind: How come it only took us a night to get from the coast to the island, when it has taken more than two days to get from the island to the coast in a faster boat?

The concentrated thought was interrupted by Robert.

"Oh, god," He moaned, aggressively, "I'm starving!" He shouted, loud enough so Kevin could hear.

I stood up, the stench of pee hitting me in the face. In the corner of the keel, several barrels of an unknown substance were layout. We had agreed that, in turns, we would pee behind the barrels as to not get any sort of bladder infections ... and not to be seen.

As I got up, one of the barrels knocked over, rolling around the floor. Underneath, a long silver pole lay.

"Woah," I said, astounded. I picked up the hard metal crowbar and twirled it around in my hands.

"It's a crowbar," I said, happily.

"You don't say," Megan replied, sarcastically. She got up and moved closer to me.

"We could use it to get out of the door?" She asked.

"No, then they'd be ready. How about, next time they come down, one of us hits them with the crowbar," Robert added.

"Yes!" I smiled at the brilliant idea. Know, we just had to wait for the presence of one of the crew. For the past two days, they had come down to give us water and bread to eat. We hoped that they'd come down today to.

Suddenly, we heard the keys rattle in the doorway.

"Dylan quick," Robert ordered. I ran to the steps, making myself invisible to the doorway. Megan and Robert stood in the view of the doorway, so they could be seen. Someone came rushing down the steps and, quickly, I ran out and gave their head a hard blow with the crowbar.

A body plummeted to the ground in pain and horror. Blood dribbled from the dark brown hair that belonged to Yasmine.

"Oh my god!" I dropped the crowbar.

"Yasmine, I'm so so sorry!" I pleaded. She got up, dabbing her head.

"Ouch!" She winced as she touched it.

"Dylan!" Megan moaned at me.

"I couldn't see her!" I argued.

Yasmine teared off some of her purple cardigan, and dabbed her head.

"Kevin wanted to see you all. Apparently he's lost or something... doesn't know the way back," She informed us.

We all travelled up the stairs and onto the deck. We walked around to where Emma was last lay and saw her condition. She was lying, crumpled on the hard wooden decking. Her eyes where closed and her leg had turned purple.

"What happened to Emma?" I asked.

"She's dying," Kevin smiled, evilly. He had a face like a horse and his hair flowed from the top of his head and down to his chin. "Cliff, Mathew, Marlo!" He ordered and the three men all came to grab Robert, Megan and I.

Jessica was no where to be seen and I know we all questioned her nonappearance. Suddenly, Kevin wipped out a gun from beneath his heavily-padded, black coat and began to twirl it around with his finger, occasionally pointing it in places and making gun-shot sounds with his yellowing teeth.

"You all know what this is don't you?"

"A banana?" Robert asked, humorously.

Suddenly, we all gasped as he pointed it in Robert's direction. "Think you're funny, do ya?" He asked, menacingly. He moved closer to Robert and cupped his face tightly between his four fingers and thumb.

Suddenly, I felt Marlo's hands disappear from mine as he fell to the ground in pain. Megan had kicked him hard. I ran forward to Emma before Cliff made a leap for Megan.

Immediately, Yasmine sped over to Cliff pushing him backward. Cliff's overweight body suddenly flipped backward over the railings.

"CLIFF!" Mathew shouted, running across to look at the fat man's arms prod the water. Kevin ran to the railings before Robert kicked the back of his legs.

Everything happened at once. The gun flew from his hand and slid across the floor to me and Emma. I picked up the gun aiming it at Kevin. Kevin saw me aiming the gun and yanked Megan into his arms.

"You shoot me, you shoot her too," Kevin smiled, blood staining his teeth from where he smacked his head on the railings after Robert had kicked him.

I pointed the gun at Megan and Kevin, looking around for support. I lowered the gun to my side and dropped it to the floor.

Someone flew across to the gun, aimed it at the unsuspecting pair and the gun fire rippled though the afternoon air.

"Was that a gun shot?" Andy asked. He was a police officer, riding a boat just off the coast.

"Affirmative, sir," said John, his minor.

"Let's find it," and with that, the boat sped off into the horizon, leaving just a white foamy substance in its wake.
