Mornings in the Olinsky-Voight house was always chaotic; especially having a toddler who had yet to start walking. Hank was currently making breakfast for his eldest three children, all
of whom were chatting loudly and excitedly as it was their first day back to school after the summer break.

His Omega, Alvin was upstairs in the bedroom of the youngest, 2 year old Jay who was still sleeping soundly with his thumb in his mouth, suckling gently. The man sat beside the crib, pulling down the safety gate so he could rest his arm on the lowered bed.

"Baby boy, can you wake for mama?" Alvin asked softly, gently rubbing Jays back

"Nooo" Jay cried, curling into a tighter ball and turning away from Alvin

"Don't you want to come with mama and baba to work today?" Alvin asked, his usual smile dropping when Jay just shook his head and buried deeper into his blankets

"Nwo" Jay whimpered

"Baby, can you turn around for mama?" Alvin asked, and his eyes widened seeing how flushed his youngest was

"Icky" Jay whimpered, eyes filling with tears and letting out a chesty sob which made the toddler break into a coughing fit

Alvin was quick to bring the small Omega toddler into his arms, pulling off the shirt and pants the boy was wearing so he was clad only in a nappy and a pair of socks. In seeing how red the baby's face was and the glassiness if his eyes, it didn't take much for Alvin to realise the toddler had a fever and was most likely feeling miserable.

"Mama" Jay cried, his small body shivering yet Alvin could feel the heat through his shirt

"I know baby, let's go see Baba" Alvin soothed, grabbing the thinner blanket that Jay always slept with and wrapping it around the toddlers body

Jay just lay limply on Alvins chest; the small toddler wasn't sure why he felt so unwell but knew his parents would be able to make him feel better, they always did. The movement of Alvin walking had Jay slipping back to sleep, and his head lay on his mama's shoulder, while his thumb stayed contently in his mouth.

"Hal, we've got a problem" Alvin spoke as he walked into the kitchen, making the Alpha turn round to take in the site in front of him

"Oh Jay" Hank sighed, looking at his youngest son who was laying limply against the older Omegas chest, face red with fever and wet sith tears which were falling from his brown eyes

"Baba" Jay whimpered, reaching out one hand to his Alpha dad while keeping his other tightly wrapped around Alvins soft shirt

"You've got a fever little man" Hank sighed, taking his youngest into his arms and kissing the boys forehead gently

"Don't fwell well" Jay whimpered, stuffing his feverish head into Hanks neck

"I know baby" Hank soothed, rubbing Jays back gently

"Mama, are you dropping us to school?" Justin asked from the table

"Yea baby, I'll will be" Alvin smiled, kissing Justins head gently as the eldest Alpha son ate his breakfast

Justin had presented as an Alpha when he was 3, and then followed by the twins, Erin and Will, who also presented as Alphas just after they turned 4. The three eldest children were very close to each other, especially since there was only 20 months between them.

Justin was a double of Hank, his characteristics shining through as a born leader; despite being an Alpha Will was slightly shyer, preferring to be there to help Alvin with taking care of the smallest member of the family and both parents knew he would turn out as some sort of doctor; the only girl, Erin was hyper and their little firecracker, a temper that was going to need work on to keep well controlled as she got older.

Then there was the most recent member, 2 year old Jay who had yet to present but everyone in the family could see he would present as a Omega from his small build. Alvin had fallen pregnant by accident, a night of fun on their anniversary had turned into a fourth child, and it hadn't been an easy pregnancy; filled with anxiety and alot of sickness from both the baby and Alvin. Jay had been 3 months premature, and the doctors had told the pair to not expect much from him.

"Is Jay coming with us too?" Erin asked, looking at her little brother

"No babe, he's staying home today, he isn't very well" Alvin said, handing Will a glass of orange juice

"Is he ok mama?" Will asked

"He has a fever baby, just needs some medicine and sleep" Hank said, sitting beside Erin and kissing the girls head softly

"Mama" Jay whimpered, eyes filling with tears

"I'm right here baby, baba has you" Alvin said, he had stood back up to get the three elder children their lunches ready for the day at school

Instead of settling, the toddler burst into tears and tried to wriggle out of Hanks arms, he didn't want his baba, he wanted his mama. Everyone could see the Omega was getting emotional from the fever, and it was clear that he only wanted Alvin to hold him.

"Erin, can you get me the baby sling please?" Alvin asked, taking his youngest into his arms and shushing him gently

"Of course mama" Erin replied, sliding off the stool and grabbing the sling that would allow Alvin to carry Jay while still doing the lunches

Hank took the sling from Erin, and helped Alvin get Jay suited so the toddler was chest to chest on his mama. The sling had allowed Alvin to baby carry all his children, and he knew when they were sick, it was the best medicine for them, being near their Omega mother, wrapped up and warm.

"That's better" Alvin sighed, resting a hand underneath Jays bum and patting softly as he continued making lunches

"I'll take you guys to school, and pick you all up after" Hank said, grabbing the pack lunches and guiding his children out of the house and into the car

"Have a good day my little loves" Alvin smiled, waving the four of them away and then shutting the door behind him, shushing Jay as he whimpered

"Mama" Jay croaked, nuzzling into the older mans chest with a sigh as he smelt the pheromones that his mama was letting out to soothe him

"It's ok baby boy, mama has you" Alvin soothed
