They saw that there was writing on the wall

Detective Jameson racked his brain, trying to figure out the meaning of the numbers they had found on the wall.

"Maybe it means "the secret"?" he said nervously, "but I'm not sure what that could be."

He tried to think harder, his brain working overtime as he tried to solve the mystery.

"Oh wait! Maybe you're right," Martha replied, "Look!" Martha tried to write on the paper and match it.

"Huh..?" Drtective saw his wife writing something.

20 = T

8 = H

5 = E

19 = S

5 = E

3 = C

18 = R

5 = E

Before Martha found the final code, they were shocked to find that the wall opened by itself.

"Wait..what??" He said with fear.

Martha and the Detective were shocked as the wall opened by itself.

They looked at each other and wondered what they would find inside the secret passageway.

As they walked through the passageway, they felt a sense of dread and anxiety. Something was not right.

They kept walking until they reached a dead end. There was a hidden door, but it was locked with a complex code.

"There are more numbers on this door," Martha pointed out, indicating a seemingly random series of numbers: "20 15 21 3 8 14 15 20".

Detective Jameson felt his heart pounding. "This must mean something," he said, trying to crack the code.

21 = U
3 = C
8 = H
14 = N
15 = O
20 = T

"TOUCH NOT," Martha read out in a trembling voice.

Suddenly, the air around them grew colder, and a chilling wind blew through the passageway. The flickering light from their torches cast eerie shadows on the walls. They could hear a faint whispering sound, like a distant conversation, but they couldn't make out the words.

"Did you hear that?" Detective Jameson asked, his voice barely above a whisper.

Martha nodded, her eyes wide with fear. "We should leave," she said, but it was too late.

The door behind them slammed shut, trapping them in the secret passageway.
