Script 6: Ruining moods and dates

"Who's the unlucky girl?" Yunjin asks and Yeonjun's eyes lit up before she laughed so hard he almost fell on the floor. He held his stomach when he was laughing, aware of the questioning look that the three girls had on their faces.

He crouches down in front of Yunjin and smiles, "Oh, you have to guess that one!" He playfully boops Yunjin's nose before jumping up and leaving.

"He sure is weird." Minji whispers and Yujin nods. "You think he might be on something? He's always like that, you think he takes it for breakfast and dinner?"

Minji laughs at the ridiculous idea while Yunjin just dwelled on what Yeonjun told her.

A date? And a girl that she has to guess? Now how would Yunjin even know? It's not like she's always up to date with the "Top 10 cutest couples list!" in their campus that she knows Ning Yizhuo secretly adds in their school's newspapers.

Or maybe it was Shim Jayoon who made those lists with the help of Yoon Seeun?

Yunjin doesn't know, but she finds it strange.

Before she could even dwell into it further, their coach calls out to them and dismisses them on the spot after saying a few reminders.

Chaewon wasn't expecting to get a message from Yunjin while she was busy with the theater club. They were stressing over who would be Chaewon's partner and even with the script reading for the parts, it's hard to tell who plays Jaeyun's part best.

With the main three gone and busy with their own respective clubs, they had no choice but to practice without them. Soobin had to fill in, even though he already had a role in the play.

Yunjin's message was very straightforward, it was just her asking if they could meet up for the sake of the egg. She wrote the message in such a way that it looked as if she was talking about a real child rather than a chicken fetus.

The smaller girl rolls her eyes at the message. She knows that she could do it on her own without having to "bother" Chaewon.

But since Chaewon's a grade freak, she doesn't get to stop herself from agreeing to meet up at the library once again.

Yunjin was already there, wearing fresh clothes, her hair was slightly damp. She obviously just got out of her own basketball practice and Chaewon thanked the heavens that Yunjin wasn't one of those nasty jocks that refused to wash after practice.

Well, she is a girl after all. It's normal for her to take care of herself more than other jocks.

And it's normal for her to smell good. She smelled like a newly washed blanket. Or something luxurious but comforting, she smelled like- Chaewon slammed her bag on the table in front of Yunjin.

Chaewon can't quite pin why she thought of that while walking towards the girl, but now that she was closer, all of those thoughts disappear and are now replaced with something negative.

It startled the younger girl before looking around and seeing that there were no other people inside the library, they didn't bother anyone with the sound.

"What the hell??" Yunjin said in a hushed manner, still being careful with talking loudly inside the library.

Chaewon didn't care to glance her way and Yunjin immediately figured out that Chaewon wasn't in the mood to put up with whatever bullshit she came up with.

The bullshit being: them working on the project together.

Well, it's not like Yunjin could do it alone, obviously she can, but it'd be very unfair.
