Script 6: Ruining moods and dates

Start from the beginning

Eunchae decides to ignore it but fails when she unconsciously rolls her eyes. Yunjin laughs at her before smiling widely.

"I'm still leaving the club."

"I know," Yunjin raises both her hands up, looking like she surrenders and doesn't want to argue with Eunchae about it, "You're hard headed like that."

Eunchae rolls her eyes before taking off her seatbelt, opening the door and stepping out.

"Thanks for the ride, unnie. You sure you don't want to come in first?"

"It's alright. I'll see auntie and uncle tomorrow anyway, I have a shift at your coffee shop." Eunchae nods before shutting the door.

Yunjin watches Eunchae make her way towards the porch, the younger girl fiddles with the door knob before turning around and looking at Yunjin through the car window.

She waves her hand with a huge smile on her lips and Yunjin laughs, waving back.

The girl finally opens the door before disappearing inside, leaving Yunjin alone to her thoughts.

Yunjin takes her bag from the bag seat and rummages through it to try and find her phone. She wanted to send Eunchae a text first before finally leaving.

As she rummages inside her bag, she accidentally touches something hard and cold. She was surprised at the sensation at first before realizing what it was.

She takes the egg out and chuckles at her doodles on its shell. She holds it tight on her hand, knowing that the shell wouldn't break even if she squeezed it.

The egg only reminded her of Chaewon and what she told her earlier. About the club and just basically her way of threatening Yunjin to get away from them as much as possible or there would be consequences.

Yunjin should have gotten used to it by now. But Chaewon never really threatened her like that before, she only received cold responses from the girl and most of the time, she would be ignored.

Yunjin wonders if she should send Chaewon an innocent text about the egg but she sighs and only sends Eunchae a "Rest well!" text before driving off.

Maybe she'll send Chaewon a text some other time. If that time actually comes..

A few days have passed and the only thing Yunjin has received from Chaewon was a cold "Keep the egg" text in the middle of the night.

Yunjin didn't know what to respond to that text with so she ends up just leaving Chaewon's message on read. Not like Chaewon cared anyway. She also couldn't sleep after hearing her phone ding and seeing Chaewon's name first thing on her screen, making her heart jump a little.

So she stays up late and gets up at 3 am to go for a morning run just to pass the time.

That was two days ago and Yunjin still feels the exhaustion she felt that day when she came back home just in time to get ready and head to school.

Classes for each and every subject ended yesterday which meant all the students had to focus on their club activities and nothing else. Well some still had written assignments they have to do but all of those weren't due until the school event ended.

She thinks about their egg baby project and she can't help but think that one of them has to reach out to do it together somehow. As much as Yunjin wants to keep avoiding Chaewon like this, she's starting to grow worried about the lack of picture documentation they have for the documentation sheet.

Yunjin is also getting tired of having to think of random things to write on the sheet everyday. She can't keep lying just so she can write down a simple update on the egg that she and her "partner" don't even meet up for.
