Script 4: Auditions

"Ever since practice started, you looked like you wanted to kill anyone who would get in your way." Minjeong gestured towards their other teammates who were already looking at the two of them.

Yunjin shrugged, "Maybe just tired?"

"Is it about Chaewon?" Suddenly they heard Ryujin speak and Yunjin now felt an arm on her shoulder and she groaned at the sudden weight.

"Oh- definitely about Kim Chaewon!" Soon it was Yujin who spoke and slid in front of Yunjin with a teasing smirk on her face. She even wiggled her eyebrows at the girl.

The orange head rolled her eyes at her friends. She swears that everywhere they go, teasing will always be a part of their bonding.

It's their love language as Uchinaga Aeri says.

"It's not ..." Yunjin says weakly.

She knew that even if she denied it to her friends, they'd know right away. She can't lie for the life of her and so, they quickly picked up on it and started making noises to tease her even further.

Yunjin scoffs jokingly before pushing her friends off of her to give herself some space and maybe even stop them from teasing her.

Which obviously didn't work.

"It so is! Minjeong, have we told you that she and Chaewon have been paired up for our Psychology exam??" Ryujin said enthusiastically as if it was something to be very happy and excited about.

Maybe it was.. Yunjin slightly thinks it is.. Just slightly. Maybe if Kim Chaewon hated her less it'd truly be something to be happy about.

"I have never heard about this. Yunjin- why didn't you tell me??" Minjeong gently nudged the taller girl with her elbow before chuckling.

"'Course, Yunny wouldn't tell you! Seems like she's been keeping it a secret from everyone else." Ryujin eggs on before leaning against Yunjin.

"Hey, Kazuha! You were there, tell Minjeong what happened!" Yujin calls out to Kazuha who was busy practicing with Minji.

The girl immediately turned with both her brows raised up, looking like she was already asking Yujin what she was talking about before she was even speaking.

They all chuckled at Kazuha's expression before they all gestured for her to come over.

"You mean the egg baby thing?" Everyone nodded and Kazuha laughed.

"Hey. How dare you laugh, Zuha??" Yunjin immediately reacted, pointing an accusing finger at her best friend before the said girl laughed louder.

"What? Weren't you two arguing the whole time?" Kazuha asks.

"We.. well." Yunjin shrugs, "She was being rude as always."

"Awww.. they're still having a little lover's quarrel.." Ryujin says with a pout, obviously trying to tease Yunjin further.

"You may just have the longest lover's quarrel ever. A year and a half??" Yujin laughs and Kazuha follows.

Minjeong only pats Yunjin's back, trying to sympathize with her. "Married life is hard." She mumbles which causes the group to explode into a loud fit of laughter.

Minji finally comes over this time, still holding the ball she was dribbling earlier before Kazuha left her side.

She didn't know what was going on but she heard who they were talking about so she kept quiet. She feared that if she spoke about Chaewon and Yunjin, the spotlight might turn towards her.

Their friend group is good at suddenly putting their friends on a hot seat.

With the way Yunjin looked, Minji could already tell that the older girl wanted practice to end right then and there.
