Yunjin would actually be lying if she said she wasn't slightly worried.
Knowing Kim Chaewon and her strong hatred towards her, she would have probably thought of a plan to report Yunjin's lack of input in their activity together as Egg baby parents to Professor Park.
And Yunjin would probably be having a failing grade by the end of this semester if she kept brushing the worries of the egg baby off everyday.
It's a minor subject, Yunjin really shouldn't be worrying that much about this but she is. She truly is.
The problem was, even if she doesn't try to avoid Chaewon, she can't seem to find the girl anywhere. Maybe the older girl had already kicked her out of their pair and found another person to take her spot. Someone who'd be able to take care of the egg properly unlike Yunjin who's too busy with basketball practice every day after classes.
Or maybe she's just not putting enough effort into looking for the older girl. She must be around campus somewhere.
Besides, Chaewon rarely even skips class.
Suddenly, a ball hit Yunjin square at the back of the head and it immediately pulled her out of her thoughts.
She immediately turned her head towards where the ball came from with a frown on her face.
"Get up, Huh!"
It was Choi Yeonjun who hit her with the ball. He was a part of the men's basketball team and they just so happened to be using the gym at the same time.
Usually, they'd be using it at different times. But today's schedule seemed to clash with the men's basketball's.
Yunjin rolls her eyes, "What do you want?"
"No time for you to be thinking of girls and cheerleaders. We have a game to practice for!" He calls out with a smug smirk on his lips. Yunjin wanted to stand up and whack his face with a ball right at that moment.
But she thinks for a second and finds out that maybe her sudden irritation towards Yeonjun was because she was thinking too much about losing her grades for the egg baby exam.
Or maybe she's just frustrated about Kim Chaewon and her lack of presence in Yunjin's life for the past three days.
Whether it's one of those things, Yunjin doesn't know which...
"Leave the poor girl alone, Jun. She doesn't look like she's in the mood for your stupid little games." It was Jongseong who spoke this time. He had a white sports headband on and was twirling the ball on his fingers as he spoke.
And the sight of Jongseong had added more irritation to Yunjin than anything even if the boy was just defending her from Yeonjun.
"Aww, come on. Don't want to play with me, Yunny?" Yeonjun says, acting all cute which made his teammates snicker and cringe at the same time.
Yunjin must not be in the mood to play along as she wanted to punch him when he used that nickname.
"We're good." Minjeong steps in and shows them a thumbs up before the team laughs. She had gently set her arm on top of Yunjin's shoulder and leaned on her a bit before chuckling at the boys on the other side of the court.
"What's up? You look like you're seconds away from beating both Yeonjun and Jay up."
Yunjin snorts, "You're making it sound like I'm kind of psychotic."
Minjeong shrugs before pulling Yunjin to sit beside their other friends who were taking a break at the corner of the court. Once they've sat down, Yunjin lets out a sigh.
