Script 4: Auditions

And then Chaewon is left alone at their shared table. Holding the egg in her hand with the paper that Yunjin wrote on now neatly placed in front of her.

She was slightly confused with how Yunjin acted. The Yunjin from a year ago would never back down just like how she did earlier. Huh Yunjin would be so focused on pissing Chaewon off to the point that she'd get herself worked up and mad as well by the end of it.

But she didn't. She remained calm. As if all her anger disappeared as soon as she wrote on the paper.

Chaewon didn't even know what she wrote, she hadn't read it yet. She was too shocked with how this Yunjin reacted.

Calm and mature.

Or so that's what Chaewon thinks she acted.

Chaewon blinks before slowly taking the paper and looking at where Yunjin wrote and what she wrote, exactly. Chaewon had written a ton of things that her eyes were getting lost in the words that she, herself, wrote.

Until she finally saw where and what Yunjin wrote and it was just the egg's name.

Suddenly Chaewon's anger is back once more as she reads the egg's name a few more times before she lets out a huff.

"Hey, Chaewonnie.. So- how's being an egg parent with Yunjin going?" Sakura tried to ask her. Chaewon didn't even notice that both Wonyoung and Sakura were now standing beside her as she stared too intensely at the paper she was holding.

"Absolutely terrible." Chaewon huffed and she looked up at both Wonyoung and Sakura with anger filled eyes and her two friends already knew that something happened.

Maybe an argument between them or just a small banter that infuriated Chaewon so much.

"What did Huh Yunjin do?" Wonyoung asks.

"She named our fucking egg 'Egg Sheeran'." Chaewon deadpanned.

There were no signs in her face and expression that would tell you that she found it funny.

And that made it more comedic to her two friends.

Wonyoung immediately bursted out laughing and Sakura had to look away to hide her growing smile from Chaewon who looked just about close to killing the two of them since Yunjin wasn't around.

"I'm going to fucking kill her." Chaewon murmured and fought the strongest urge to crumple up the paper that she was holding. She can't really do that.

Not when that paper was their only copy of the first requirement they have to pass for next week. It's a documentation sheet for this egg baby activity they have and Chaewon wanted nothing but to crumple it and slam it in Huh Yunjin's face.

If only she's allowed to do it, she will.

It's been exactly three days since Professor Park's psychology class happened. Since the egg baby thing happened and Yunjin took it upon herself to be the one to avoid Kim Chaewon this time.

As if she knew that the older girl was avoiding her already.

With their coach suddenly announcing that they have to start preparing early, she really can't prevent herself from avoiding Chaewon. And avoiding her responsibility as the other parent to their egg baby.

She hasn't seen the egg in days. She wonders if Chaewon has been taking care of it.

She probably was. And she probably was doing a great job as well.

Yunjin didn't need to worry about the egg at all. Besides, she told Chaewon to tell her when it was her turn to take care of the egg and Chaewon hasn't told her anything at all. Not even an indirect message from any of her friends.
