"You really aren't." Chaewon quickly replies with a nod. Confident, slightly arrogant and she looked irritated.

"Well, have you ever wondered that maybe you're hogging that damn paper?"

"If you would have asked nicely for it, I would have gladly handed it over to you."

Yunjin scoffs, "As if me trying to be nice to you has ever worked before." She said it in a very low tone. Almost whispering it to herself but Chaewon heard it very clearly.

Clear enough that she glared at Yunjin, "What the fuck is that supposed to mean?"

The younger girl shrugged, looking nonchalant. Looking like someone Chaewon would absolutely love to punch straight in the face.

Huh Yunjin just never fails to piss Chaewon off. She doesn't even need to try. Maybe that's her talent and skill, to ruin Chaewon's peaceful life.

"Oh, you know it well enough not to ask me to explain." The younger girl says, not even looking at Chaewon.

With the tension building up between them, Chaewon could already feel an argument coming. If Yunjin doesn't keep her mouth shut, Chaewon will snap.

"You have never, not even once, been nice to me." Chaewon said through gritted teeth and Yunjin frowns at her.

She was sure she couldn't remember any moment where Yunjin had been nice to her. All throughout that one year with her, she has only kept her distance away from the girl which is making it impossible for Yunjin to approach her at all.

Of course, Chaewon acted coldly towards her but Chaewon knew every other gesture Yunjin had shown her before was fake kindness. It wasn't hard to tell...

Even if Chaewon did believe it for a while..

After all, it's easy to think of someone badly while still showing them kindness through actions.

And that's just how Huh Yunjin is.

Chaewon doubts she'd changed.

"Sure. Apparently I have never been nice to you." Yunjin suddenly stands up from her seat and Chaewon follows her every move.

She was the only one standing aside from professor Park who was too busy helping a different pair from somewhere inside the room.

Too busy to even notice that Yunjin had suddenly stood up. Too busy to even notice that Yunjin and Chaewon were slightly arguing.

Everyone in the class had noticed it except him.

Chaewon had already prepared herself for the argument she would be having with Huh Yunjin publicly but instead, the younger girl pulled the paper away from her.

She wrote something down before pushing it back towards Chaewon.

"Just tell me when my turn with the egg will be." She said it so softly.

So gentle. Her eyes looked soft as well. Chaewon didn't see any anger in them at all, not even a bit.

If Chaewon saw clearly, Yunjin looked at her with such understanding eyes that Chaewon felt pissed at the younger girl even more.

How dare even Huh Yunjin look at her that way? Like she's some troubled kid that needed help?

And as if on cue, the bell outside rang and Professor Park had started to talk a little more about the eggs and this whole exam/project thing before finally dismissing everyone.

Yunjin was the very first one to leave, like she knew they'd be leaving the room before the bell even rang, so she took it upon herself to leave already without being told to.
