Script 4: Auditions

When Yunjin sees Chaewon turn her head towards her friends, she turns and looks at Chaewon's friends as well.

Sakura was playfully balancing a pen on her nose and Wonyoung was trying to blow the pen away even if she was ten seats away from the older girl.

Yunjin then looks over at Kazuha who was smiling up at Sakura. Even Jungwon, who was the only one writing on him and Wonyoung's paper, was silently snickering at the girls' actions.

The redhead shrugged with a small smile on her lips. Finding the scene in front of her amusing.

But she soon loses her smile as she sees Chaewon look back at her. Yunjin was quick to go back to having a poker face on and Chaewon looked back down at their paper, continuing to read the other questions they had to answer together.

This time, Yunjin never spoke again like she planned to do after Chaewon had proved that she will always be rude towards her.

There was no point in trying to have a normal conversation with Kim Chaewon.

Professor Park had come back now and he was handing over the eggs that each pair would take care of for quite a while.

"Now, I know you all already know what you have to do with the egg at this point." He says, holding up a marker as he smiles up at everyone.

They have to design the egg now.

"Design" as in they have to give their eggs features and maybe small doodles on the shell so they'd be able to differentiate their eggs from the others.

Chaewon was too busy reading the other questions for her to even start drawing on their egg. She decided it would be best to fill up the paper first before proceeding to draw a face on their egg "baby".

She glances up at Yunjin who wasn't even doing anything. She rolls her eyes before scoffing silently. She didn't want Yunjin to hear her scoff or else they may just fight again.

The older girl was half expecting Yunjin to take care of putting designs on their egg baby but the girl wasn't doing anything at all.

"Are you going to act like a deadbeat or.. what?"

Yunjin finally looks at her. Looking directly into her eyes as she did. "What?" She asked innocently.

"The egg, Huh." Chaewon gestures towards the egg that was dangerously close to the table's edge. One wrong move from the two of them and their egg baby would drop and crack.

They wouldn't want that on the first day of having the egg baby, of course.

So Chaewon takes it, holds it close and stares at Yunjin.

"What? Should I really be acting like that's my baby?"

Chaewon rolls her eyes at the girl, "That's the whole point of this exam, is it not??"

The redhead leans on her chair further, eyes uninterested. "What do I even do? You're already holding it. You will be the first one to take it home."

With her response, Chaewon fights the urge to roll her eyes once more. She's at least terrified that her eyes might not roll back in front if she keeps doing it.

And she's sure with Huh Yunjin being her partner for this egg baby project, she'd roll her eyes ten times more than she usually does.

She just knows that the girl will actively get under her skin without fail.

"Are you seriously going to act like a deadbeat?" She repeats the question.

"I'm not? You have the egg. You're acting as if I'm not contributing to anything." Yunjin points at the egg that she has slightly clutched in her hand.
