Script 4: Auditions

How will they even survive this exam?

"Give me a name." The smaller girl commanded, tapping her pen once on the table.

"Jennifer." Yunjin immediately responded with a teasing grin on her lips.

"Other than your stupid english name please." Chaewon didn't even look at her.

"Crack."

"God, what is wrong with you?" Chaewon finally looks at her. Dropping her pen on the table as she leans back a bit, looking at Yunjin in disbelief with a mixture of annoyance.

Yunjin laughs, "I'm simply answering you, your highness."

"You're not even serious about this. I'm asking you for the egg's name."

"Hey, I answered you properly the first time and you called my English name stupid."

"I was only being honest."

"Look at you, you're being rude." Yunjin had a smirk on her lips. It was obvious that she was doing all of this on purpose to get under Chaewon's skin.

Chaewon was just too pissed off to even see logic and notice that Yunjin is just purposely being a pain in the ass.

"Grow up."

"What's your problem?" Yunjin throws the question back and Chaewon glares at her.

That was enough for Yunjin to know what Chaewon's problem was.

"You."

The ginger head breathes through her nose, "Of course." She mutters. "One and a half years and I'm still your problem."

"I wouldn't have any if you didn't come back." The older girl said it so sternly that Yunjin felt the girl's strong hatred towards her.

She has always felt it and she always knew Chaewon hated her that much. Even if she has accepted that Kim Chaewon would never change her mind about how she sees her.

Yunjin can't help but always feel that slight pain deep inside her. But no one would ever know that.

Because she'd never admit that it hurt her a bit. Even if she was in a life or death situation, she will forever keep it to herself.

Kim Chaewon's actions towards her hurt.

Instead of looking hurt, she rolls her eyes as she leans back on her chair, crossing her arms. She no longer wants to talk to Chaewon.

Chaewon is truly fun to tease but when Chaewon's starting to remind her how much she wanted her to disappear, she'd rather keep her energy and not waste it on her anymore. She's not worth it anyway.

"Fine, you think of a name then." Yunjin weakly mumbles.

Chaewon clicks her tongue. Mutters something about the word "useless" before writing something down on the paper.

It's not like Chaewon's truly calling Yunjin useless (she is), it's just that she's hogging the paper and she doesn't even try to talk to Yunjin properly to at least find out what the girl has to say about their work.

She only asked her about the egg's name which she was not satisfied about.

Yunjin was trying to be funny by saying something stupid for the egg's name. Maybe she forgot that Kim Chaewon doesn't like her.

Kim Chaewon isn't one of the students who admire her and respect her.

Kim Chaewon hated her guts.

Yunjin could only helplessly stare at Chaewon. What can she even do about anything? She doesn't know.
