Script 2: Huh Yunjin

Start from the beginning

Lee Chaeyoung was a cheerleader and was supposed to be a part of the theater club but she just couldn't leave her team behind.

Chaewon had always thought not having her in the club was a bummer but oh well, Chaeyoung seems to be having the time of her life as a cheerleader anyway.

Chaewon smiled at the said girl, "Hey! I didn't know you were in this class?"

It was nice to finally see a familiar face other than the devil, Huh Yunjin.

"I wasn't. I got my schedules switched." Chaeyoung says with a sigh.

"On accident or..?"

"I mean like, I switched it myself." Chaeyoung laughs, "I was supposed to be here for Seeun... but it seems like she changed her mind." she added and Chaewon could hear the slight sadness in her tone.

Almost everyone in the school knows that Yoon Seeun and Lee Chaeyoung don't really get along..

Or so that's what people have been saying but they never fought before, never made a scene, never argued in front of a crowd.. nothing like what happened with Chaewon and Yunjin anyway.

They were just.. Well.. Seeun just ignores Chaeyoung like the plague. That was the easiest way to describe their "relationship". Before this, they were friends. None of them know what happened and what made them drift apart.

Ever since then, Chaeyoung would always try to come up to Seeun and talk. She just doesn't succeed every time.

Chaewon wanted to at least comfort Chaeyoung but she decided not to act like a hero as she remembered that they'd been combined with Chaeyoung's class.

With Huh Yunjin's class.

She could already feel this unsettling feeling on her stomach. She fought the urge to make a face and just cleared her throat.

"Where's Seeun now?" Chaewon asks just to get Huh Yunjin out of her head for a bit.

Chaeyoung shrugged, nose scrunching, "Somewhere with her friends I guess.. taking another class, I assume." The poor cheerleader looked like a sad kitten that was left by their owner. Chaewon didn't know how to try to cheer her up.

"But anyway- Huh Yunjin-"

And there goes Chaewon's sympathy.

She groans and rolls her eyes. The cheerleader immediately let out a laugh. Satisfied with how Chaewon reacted. She mentioned Huh Yunjin on purpose, just something to switch the topic up.

"What? I just said her name."

"Yeah and I hope to God you don't say it again.." Chaeyoung laughs once again before patting the short haired girl's shoulder, "Don't be like that to her, she seems different now!"

"Seems." Chaewon said with air quotes. "She just looks different and acts different. Who knows, maybe the next day I'll be hearing my name through the school's speakers again."

Chaeyoung slightly cringes at the way Chaewon spoke. She didn't know how to react to it knowing the topic of what happened to her and Yunjin is a bit sensitive. She didn't want to be insensitive and make a joke about that.

"Plus. She's a jock now!" Chaewon spoke before the cheerleader could even get a word in.

"She's an athlete, Chaewon. A good one too."

"Fuck, you cheer for her??"

"Yeah." Chaeyoung shrugs, "It's no big deal. The girls are all nice, they're definitely not jocks."

Chaewon sucks in a breath, "I'm not going to listen to you. It's nothing personal-"

"You just hate her, I know, Chaewon. Most of the academy knows." She chuckles. Right. Everyone actually knows. Something about it made it seem easier for Chaewon to get away from Huh Yunjin.
