Hii! It's been a long time since I've updated😭..

anyways! Like you've seen on the title this chapter is about studying! most of you probably don't like studying maybe because you can't focus or it's boring in general to you. So I thought of giving you some advice inspired by wonyoung^^

But first you guys should know or I'll just remind you that studying is important. It's not always just for your future job... it's also about doing important stuff even if you don't want to and give your best. And everyone who has the opportunity to study should be grateful because not everyone has the possibility to study or go to school. And honestly I also sometimes say „school is so boring", „I want to go home" and so on but later on I realize I'm wrong. It's really important to go to school so please remember that ;)

Study tips:

should I listen to music while studying?

honestly this is different for everyone, so I'll just recommend this. While doing homework it'd be okay to listen to Lofi music not any other music, it'll distract you. I used to do that but I now stopped listening to music while studying completely. For me personally it's distracting and stresses me out idk why. So I would recommend: it's better to study without music

sleep

It's really important to get enough sleep, it'll help you to remember everything. You also shouldn't study all day long and take some breaks!

walking around while reading notes out loud

I've never tried this but some people say it helps them so why not try it?

mindmaps & simplify notes

Mindmaps are really easy to remember especially when they're colourful and pretty. Also if you have long and complicated notes (if possible) you can simplify them. For example make bullet points or write the notes as easy as a little kid would even understand it.

When should I start studying?

This depends on how much you have to study or if it's an easy or difficult subject. If you have a difficult subject which also has much to study I'd recommend to start studying at least a week before. But if it's an easy subject with less to study 3-4 days would be enough. But again this is something that depends on each person. For example I even managed to study for one day and got a B.. but please don't do this it probably was luck or something.

option: traffic-light-method

Let's say you accidentally study last minute (like my example before😭) like one or two days  before. You could try the traffic-light-method. It's basically just marking stuff. You just need to print or write your notes on another sheet and mark the easiest (green), difficult (red) and normal (orange/yellow) for you. And then you start studying from the hardest to the easiest. You can skip studying the easy stuff since you already know it and focus on the difficult so that you've got at least a chance to answer questions you don't know. This was literally my life saver so you can try that if you want to! ^^

stop making excuses

I know that some teachers are really bad at explaining some subjects.. but you can't always blame them for everything. If you didn't get the lesson then study it on your own or ask your classmates. You can't just say „yeah, it was the teachers fault, I will fail the test!". Firstly it'll stress you more and also it won't help you out. You can also watch some videos, make quizzes and others but you can't let yourself fail because of a teacher. You're not at school to blame anyone.

motivation

I think studying is also about motivation and inspiration. I mean you're reading this right now.. maybe you're trying to get motivation. And it could also be that I'm bad at giving tips or motivating you but at least you know what you want or don't want to do. So if I didn't help out you should get other motivation. For example I follow many study accounts on instagram. They always have so pretty notes and good grades and through that I always ask myself „I can do that as well, right?" and that's when I start studying more, make pretty notes and others. That's literally the best part of social media and that could be really useful to everyone. You could also motivate yourself by dreaming of your future: what would you achieve through studying? would it make my life better?

okay guys, this is the end of the chapter! I hope I helped you with this and if not... like i said get some other motivation or tips ;)
