● what if after years of wearing the miraculous, and training, Marinette got side effects
● for example: enhanced strength, speed, agility, hyper senses, peak human condition, etc.
● at this point in time Mari has been through pure hell
● died countless times and fought insanely hard
● her team too of course
● I just think it would be cool if Marinette had to fight Deathstroke or someone superhuman and highly trained and she wasn't in costume
● with the level of strength and training I'm envisioning, Marinette would be a pretty impressive and badass fighter
● just a change of pace from having to rely on the miraculous
● and I'm talking like if the earrings weren't even physically on her body
● as well as other powers like creation at will, or teleportation, or destruction, telekinesis, bending the elements, etc.
● like universal powers granted in exchange for her death and as a result of fighting for so long and being the guardian, and the wielder of the miraculous of CREATION
● interestingly the Lazarus pit would be kind of her weakness in a sense since technically it is artificial
● like her kryptonite (metaphorically and not severely as in stripping away her powers, just weakening her generally)
● Marinette being a demigod able to go into an avatar state if pushed to the actual extremes (Avatar Airbender reference anyone?)
● part of the reason why she could be a last resort on Justice League Dark
