The Copycat, otherwise known as Mr. Nibbles, is Hailey Daily's pet cat. He is one of the main antagonists of Mighty Pups sub-series, alongside Harold Humdinger and Ladybird. He first appeared in "Mighty Pups, Charged Up: Pups vs. the Copycat".

Bio

Before gaining superpowers, the Copycat was simply an ordinary pet cat. He went to the Lookout and tried to push out the meteor, but a small chunk got lodged in his teeth giving him superpowers. His superpowers are copying the powers of others.

Personality

Mr. Nibbles showed disdain for the PAW Patrol and a wish to have his owner Hailey's attention. Upon hearing about the meteor that gives the pups their powers, he checked it out and knocked off a fragment that lodged into his teeth, giving him the ability to speak as well as all the powers of the Mighty Pups!

The power quickly went to his head. He vowed to become a much bigger story and sensation than the Mighty Pups in order to have Hailey's attention all to himself. Upon meeting Mayor Humdinger, he showed how rude he was by revealing his tendency to mockingly repeat what others say. Mayor Humdinger sarcastically asked if he was some kind of "copycat", and Mr. Nibbles was inspired, renaming himself "the Copycat". He accepted Mayor Humdinger's help, but treated him as a lowly sidekick and not a partner in crime, giving him the bad guy name, Foggy Boy.

Copycat is ambitious and selfish. He stole objects from around Adventure Bay in order to build his own lookout tower that would be even bigger than the Lookout of the PAW Patrol, unconcerned about the damage he was causing. He then sought to acquire the biggest meteor he could so that not only would he have the better tower and bigger meteor, he'd be able to gain even more superpowers and become even more powerful. It didn't matter to him that he was endangering Adventure Bay. He didn't even appear to consider the fact that Hailey would be threatened, although it's unknown if he simply forgot or didn't care about her anymore.

Upon his defeat, he cruelly abandoned Mayor Humdinger and his kitties and made his escape, returning to Hailey's van as if he'd been there the whole time. He went back to his normal "Mr. Nibbles" self, but he clearly showed that he was still a villain by smiling mischievously.

He is sometimes an opportunist, like allying himself with Harold and Ladybird.

Appearance

Generally, he has orange fur with cream markings on his muzzle, chest, belly, and paws. He also has green eyes, a pink nose, and a gold tooth, which is actually a fragment of the Mighty Meteor and the source of his powers. He has a spiky tuft of fur on his head.

As Mr. Nibbles, he wears a purple collar with a tag that bears a resemblance to the Kitten Catastrophe Crew's logo.

As the Copycat, he wears a purple and silver bodysuit which can also change color depending on the pup he's copying. This only happened once, seen in "PAW Patrol Original 5s: Charged Up: Pups vs. a Copycat Marshall".

Skills and Abilities

Because of the meteor, Copycat can speak and has the base superpowers of the core members of the PAW Patrol. He has super strength like Rubble, super speed like Chase, the ability to generate heat like Marshall, flight and wind manipulation like Skye, energy tools like Rocky, and the ability to spray water from his paws like Zuma. He can give people powers if they've been exposed to the meteor, as shown in "PAW Patrol Original 5s: Charged Up: Pups vs. the Teenybots", when he did so to Harold. When he has to go back to his normal alter ego, he can make his "Copycat" outfit disappear at will.
