Starts with Giselle and her dad James at home in Iceland
"Sweetie I'll be back in no time you know that! Says James softly caressing her cheek"
"Dad I know but you're always away and then soon enough we'll be moving to Japan".
Giselle reply's
"Well, I've got to go now lemon I love you okay?"
Giselle nods "Love you too Dad," she says.

A couple of days pass and Giselle hears a knock on the door
She opens the door to see the police standing outside giving her a sorrowful look she knows this only means one thing. "Are you Giselle brown?" The police officer says, there's one woman who looks me dead in the eye, not a glimpse of emotion in them not like the other one, a small old man who looks passionate and is reading from a book, I'm guessing which is telling him what to say.
My eyes fill up with tears the police officer looks up and says
"I'm so sorry to have to tell you this miss brown, but your father has passed away." I sit in the doorway eyes numb from emotion partially knowing he was going to say this and the way it's all happened so fast. The woman police officer says in a stern voice
"We've received your dad's will and it says he would like you to live with the Cooper family do you know of them?" I nod, I've heard my dad mention them a couple of times saying he met the mom, Janice in university and they've been friends ever since. Janice lives over in New Hampshire so I'm assuming I'll have to move there.

The next couple of days are a whirlwind having to attend my own father's funeral to packing all my stuff up and leaving, but I don't have to say goodbye to many, I've never been good at 'friends' I've never stayed long enough to have many so I tend to stay away from everyone.

I walked onto the plane and greeted the air hostess she smiled and checked my boarding pass, I walked over to seat 5 put my carry-on on top of the chairs and went to sit down. I pull out my headphones and plug them into my phone, I've never felt the need for AirPods I've always liked the wire headphones better mainly because I did have time to charge them and my dad used to sit together using them pulling on each other's wire and laughing. But this time I feel no tugs or laughter just children crying and adults shushing and talking over one another after a while the sound fades and the flight attendant walks out. I put my headphones in a start listening to some music I look out the window and whisper to myself, "Goodbye Iceland" and we start the whiz down the ramp and before I know it we're in the air flying. My eyes start to feel heavy and I'm suddenly asleep.
