28. Unexpected Turn Of Events

Achintya interrupted,"Uska Bhai hai, uske sath main kabhi kuch galat nhi hone dunga."

Payal reached the mansion and she overheard his confession and tears were flowing from her eyes. Ishqi 's eyes fall on her.

"Payal.", Ishqi called her name.

Everyone 's gaze fall on her. She was looking Achintya and he was looking her with tears in his eyes..
He gathered courage and went near Payal and bent down on his knees and looked down.

Achintya started apologising, "Main tumhara gunhegar hu payal. Pata hai kal jab main apni behan ko college lene gaya then I found some guys trying to molest her. I got angry aur maine unhe bahaut maara lekin Kashish (his sister) ki state main dekh nhi paaya. Vo abhi bhi room mein ek Darr ke saath baithi hai. Tab muje apni galti realise Hui, ki maine bhi vahi Kiya Jo unn ladko ne Kiya...I.. I... tried to force my Payal... I am really ashamed of my dids...lekin... lekin Payal, mera tumhare liye pyaar saccha tha...it was all real for me...but uss din main drunk tha aur mere friends ne mujhe provoke kiya and they give me a bet...and...I..I.."

He started crying. Payal was about to fall when Ishqi reached near her and gave her a support.

Payal tried to calm herself down.

"Tum kya bacche ho Jo tumhare friends ne provoke kiya aur tumne mere upar bet lagadi?, Payal questioned.

"Main maafi ke kabil nahi hu Payal.
Lekin Muje bas ek mauka do meri galti sudharne ka. Pyaar kisse karna hai vo toh jaanliya lekin pyaar kaise nibhana hai vo nahi Jan paaya...I am really sorry", he spoke folding his hands.

Payal doesn't said anything and left the place. Ishqi went behind her.

Pratap was just shocked by learning misdeeds of his son. He went near Ahaan and folded his hands. "Muje maaf kardena beta, muje mere bete ki kartuto ke baare mein nhi pata tha aur maine tumhare liye aur musibate khadi kardi.", he spoke with guilt.

Ahaan put down hands of Pratap.
"Uncle aap mujse bade hai, aap pls maafi nahi maangiye. Bas ek help chahiye, aap yaha Jo bhi hua uske baare mein kisise kuch nahi bolenge, papa se bhi nahi.Payal ke liye chize face karna difficult hojayega.", Ahaan requested.

Pratap nodded silently, acknowledging his request.
Ahaan left the place. Pratap once looking Achintya moved towards his room. Achintya sat alone with remorse.

Ahaan, Ishqi and Payal went to a cafe to talk.
"Payal. Thik hai na tu?", Ishqi enquired.

"Haa di.", Payal responded.

Payal then looked towards Ahaan.

"I am so sorry Jiju.Meri vaja se aap bina galti hone ke bavjud maafi maangne vale the.", Payal expressed.

"Sorry bolne ki jarurat nahi hai. We are one family Payal.", Ahaan reassured, "Accha Achintya ke saath kya karna hai, kuch socha hai?", he asked.

Payal replied, "Main bas sab bhulkar aage badhna chahti hu. Jab uski khudki family uske against hogai, isse badi saja kya hogi uske liye... muje nhi pata ki use sachme pachtava hai ya nhi, lekin agar use pachtava hai toh uski saja vahi hai."

Payal took hands of Ahaan and Ishqi.
"Mere saath aap dono ho toh muje kuch Darr nahi.", Payal stated.

They both nodded and passed a smile.

Later, they did some light warming talks and left the cafe. Ahaan and Ishqi dropped Payal and went to Khanna's mansion.

At night, Ishqi and Ahaan were sitting on their bed. Ahaan rested his head on headboard and Ishqi kept her head on his shoulder, caressing his bandaged hand.
"Aaj sab kuch kitna unexpected hua.", Ahaan exclaimed.

"Haa,  atleast Achintya realised his mistake."

"I don't trust his words so I can't say if he realised his mistake or not."

Ishqi looked him.

"Itna mat sochiye aap Ahaan, akhir mein sab kuch thik hogaya.", she reassured.

"Abhi sab kuch thik nhi hua hai ishqi, investors ko manana padega, things will be going to be hectic from tomorrow.", he asserted.

"I trust your hard work, and I'm here to support you through it all. ", she said with a warm smile.

" Let's hope for the best."

She kept her other hand on his hand and reassured him.
Then they lied down to sleep.

The following days 2-3 were filled with challenges for Ahaan as he worked tirelessly to mend relations with investors. Though he got back a few investors, he was trying to put in more effort. He was sitting in his cabin doing work when his secretary informed him that Pratap Raghuvanshi wanted to meet him and he asked his secretary to call him.

Pratap entered his cabin and Ahaan stood up and asked him to sit.

"Uncle aap yaha kaise?", Ahaan asked on his sudden arrival.

"Maafi maangni aaya hu.", Pratap stated.

"Uncle maine uss din bhi aapko bola tha ki aap mujse bade hai, aapko maafi maangne ki jarurat nahi hai.", Ahaan retorted.

Till then Pratap took out some papers and kept them on the table.

"Jo galti maine ki thi use sudharna chahta hu, tumhare investors ko mana liya hai aur vo sab ready hai tumhare saath kaam karne ke liye, yeh uske hi papers hai", Pratap declared.

Ahaan once glanced at the papers and was surprised.

"Uncle ye..."

"Meri vaja se tumhe problem hui bas issliye kiya."

"Thank you uncle."

Pratap just smiled.

"Ek request hai beta. Mere bete Achintya ko apni family ki value hai lekin usko dusre ki family ki value nahi hai. Main chahta hu vo rishte ko aur business ko samajhna tumse sikhe, issliye main chahta hu ki Achintya tumhare office mein ek normal employee ki tarah kaam kare."
