"Violet? Whose that? She's not in this class, is she Maya?" a brunette questioned to her best friend, Maya "Uh I don't believe so" she responded.
Violet has always gone to John Quincy Adams Middle School and she's quite the student, with her feisty...
"You see me as a bird" Farkle questioned Maya who shook her head "No I see you as someone who needs to be protected" she said as she looked away from him. Violet ran a hand through her hair as she thought it was cute before her eyes widened as Ms. Kossal drew everyone attention over to her "Violet. This is unbelievable, the line work, the color scheme. Just incredible." She quickly shook her head "No uh Ms. Kossal that's not really necessary" Violet pleaded as she tried to close her sketch book but it was already too late. "Oh now I got to see this" Maya said with a devious grin, Violet didn't really want everyone looking at her art but she knew at this point, there was no use in fighting it.
"It obviously can't be that bad Spitfire" Farkle said as he came over to see and stopped in front of the art work with his mouth agape. The artwork in front of him was a very detailed portrait of him in a science jacket holding two beakers with a crown on his head and what appears to be a tiny self portrait of Violet sitting on his shoulder with a halo with the caption 'Taking over the world with science and good fortune'. Violet stared at Farkle not sure what to think of his reaction "Um do you like it" she asked as she tucked a hair strand behind her ear, Farkle recovered from his shock and instead of responding, he hugged her instead which caused Violet to immediately wrap her arms around him which was a rare sight.
"Oh come on, it can't even be that good" Maya said as she made her way over with Riley and stared at the painting, as she stared at the painting she couldn't help but feel inferior as she tucked her chin "It's not even that good , right Riley?" Maya asked her best friend. Riley looked at the painting and she couldn't help but to feel envious, but she knew Violet had a real talent "Maya don't say that, it's actually really nice" she responded with a small smile. Lucas also looked at the painting and he couldn't believe how realistic and perfect it looked.
Violet released herself from Farkle with a slight blush on her cheeks as she fixed her gloves and straightened out her clothes. "Violet. Maya. You both should consider putting one of your pieces in the school exhibit coming up" Ms. Kossal said to the girls as she looked at them with pride, Violet bit the inside of her cheeks as she didn't quite like the idea of sharing her art, but she felt Lucas squeeze her hand with a nod showing his support in the idea. "Okay I'm up for it" she told her teacher as she glanced over to Maya who was practically giving her the death stare "It's a no from me Ms. Kossal, I don't draw for other people to look at, thank you though" Maya said which caused the teacher to slightly frown. "I'd appreciate you thinking about it, okay?" Ms. Kossal asked as the bell rang to dismiss the students.
