Hey, just before we start, I am going to put pictures of all the outfits they wear, at the end of the chapter. Also, I changed the female lead's name so if by any chance find Kiana anywhere, ignore it!
I will try my best to write everything in English. But if sometimes I write in Gujarati, I will always mention the translations. I hope the story reaches to Gujarati audience also.

Taranya's pov
After sitting in the hall with mom and bhai, I went to my room to have some time for myself. I needed time to process everything, It's all so messed up and I can't even talk to anyone about it. I know after a certain point of time, I have to tell Aahana. She has solutions to all my problems. I changed into a shorts and a oversized t-shirt after a good 30 minutes of overthinking and went to sleep or better, tried to sleep. And obviously couldn't after tossing and turning so much so I went in the kitchen to have some water.
"What are you doing here?" I gasped and the glass well down from my hands and I turned around to see bhai entering.
"You scared me bhai." I said while keeping hands on my chest and picking up the glass.
"Sorry. But what are you doing?" He asked.
"I couldn't sleep so I came to drink water. What are you doing here?" I asked, stressing on the word you.
"Same. Couldn't sleep." He said and looked into the snacks cabinet to eat something.
"Bhai, why would dad do this?" I asked.
"Tara, don't overthink okay. Go and sleep." He said because he knew I kill myself with my own thoughts.
"No bhai. I need answers." I forced.
"Look, even I don't know. I am planning to meet up with dad for answers. You can join." He said. I knew he would do something like this so if he wouldn't have, I would have planned something.
"Mom doesn't know right?" I asked.
"Well ofcourse she doesn't, and shouldn't." He said. A voice came of Lily meowing and she entered the kitchen with small and slow steps.
"Lily... What are you doing here...?" I murmured and picked her up in my arms and kissed her head.
"I guess she also in with us. Evil little cat with a cute face." Bhai said and patted her head.
"Hey! She's not evil, she's only a sweetheart. My sweetheart." I said and tickled her fur and in response she meowed at me.
Bhai chuckled at me. "Okay fine, now you should go and sleep. You have school tomorrow."
"Arey yaar! Can I skip tomorrow?" I asked with puppy eyes.
"Chal chal have! Kaaran vagar nathi karvanu!" He said and flicked his finger on my temple.
(No way! You can't skip school without a reason.)
"Who said I don't have a reason? I have to do extra studies." I replied and hit him on his bicep.
"The school has just started...How are you gonna do extra studies madam?"
"Uhh..umm..I can see in the book and practice by myself...?" I laughed a bit nervously.
"Haha. Very good. Go and sleep you monkey." He said and went out of the kitchen. I huffed angrily.
"In these world full of cruel people, only you, Lily are good." I said to Lily who was in my arms and went in my room with Lily to finally sleep after talking to my brother. Even if he is the most irritating person in the whole universe, he is my brother and I know he always has my back.
