"I can drop you home, Jimin," Jungkook offered, his voice a low rumble, the very embodiment of a bad boy's charm.

But Jimin, steadfast in his solitude, declined, insisting on the solace of his own company.
"No worries jungkook! My house is a stones throw from here... I'll walk "

Jungkook, sensing the finality in Jimin's tone, nodded with a reluctant acceptance and watched as his friend disappeared into the cool embrace of the evening. As Jungkook turned to leave, his phone buzzed incessantly, a cascade of missed calls from Taehyung lighting up the screen. With a furrowed brow, he dialed back, only to be greeted by the slurred speech of his senior, who was evidently drowning his sorrows in the nearest bar after a fleeting romance had fizzled out.

"Hyung, you broke your own record . A week! U lasted with her only for a week!" Jungkook whisper yelled through the phone pacing his steps desperately in search of a taxi.

"Ahh, jungkookie... My dear kookie... I last for an hour max! A week is tooo muchh baby ... But if it's you, maybe I'll try..." Jungkook slapped his forehead hearing literal shit from his senior and knew he was beyond drunk.

"Hyung, wait for me .. okayyy... Don't go puking around . I'll be there in a minute." Jungkook sat in a taxi and directed the driver to their regular bar.

Taehyung and alcohol never went hand in hand. And drunk tae was difficult to handle, being all flirty and lovey dovey .. If he could do that with his girlfriends they'd last longer.

The bar was a cacophony of laughter and clinking glasses, a symphony of escapism. Taehyung was the maestro, his playboy charms weaving through the crowd, a flirtatious smile playing on his lips as he wooed both women and men alike. His allure was undeniable, a magnetic force that drew people to him, only to be cast away like stars falling from his personal galaxy.Jungkook's presence cut through the revelry, his aura a stark contrast to the drunken vibrancy of Taehyung. With a firm grip, he extricated his senior from the throng, pressing a glass of water into his hands.

"Hydrate, not inebriate," Jungkook chided, a smirk dancing on his lips.

Taehyung, too inebriated to protest, stumbled, his hands exploring the contours of Jungkook's muscles. "You know, Jungkook, you are adorable... very cute," he slurred, his fingers pinching Jungkook's cheeks in a childlike gesture.

"Hands off the merchandise, Tae," Jungkook quipped, swatting away the invasive hands with an easy grace.

His eyes met with a sudden gravity as Taehyung's eyes locked onto his, a sobering seriousness cutting through the fog of alcohol.

"Jungkook," Taehyung began, his voice a low thrum, "I've got to tell you something. I've got feelings for you. Real ones."

Here he goes again ....

Jungkook's lips turned into a thin line as he dragged the Taehyung clinging on his shoulder to the corner of the bar, away from all the onlookers.

"Kookie, look at me ..." he pulled Jungkook's attention towards his charming eyes.

"I like you... " he said yet again with the same intensity ....
The confession hung in the air, a delicate truth that threatened to shatter the night's frivolity. Jungkook, unfazed and disinterested, regarded Taehyung with a cool detachment. He knew the senior's reputation, the playful dance of flirtation that Taehyung mastered so well, and he was certain this was but another performance.

"Hyung, you're drunk," Jungkook replied, his voice a smooth baritone that seemed to resonate with the hidden depths of the night. "You don't even know what you're saying."

But Taehyung, persistent in his pursuit, leaned in closer, his breath a warm whisper against Jungkook's ear.

"I may be drunk, but my heart's never been clearer. You've got this bad boy vibe that just... it gets me, you know?"Jungkook couldn't help but let a smirk dance upon his lips, the situation amusing him despite his better judgment.

"You think you can handle a bad boy like me, Taehyung?"

Taehyung's cheeks flushed, his mind momentarily clouded by the alcohol. He leaned closer, his voice filled with a hint of longing.

"Jungkook, you have no idea what I'm capable of," he replied, his words laced with a mixture of confidence and vulnerability.

"I'm not too sure hyung ..." jungkook let his soft chuckle drift in the midnight air as he dragged Taehyung our of the bar.

"My heart beats fast, my palms sweat, For you, my love, I cannot forget. With every breath, I long for your touch, My love for you, forever, will never be enough." Taehyung, in his slurry voice sang to Jungkook placing his palm on his junior's chest close to his heart.

He felt Jungkook's muscles tense under his touch and leaned into Jungkook, seeking solace in his steady presence.

"If you could make such good ones when you were sober we wouldn't be studying Hyung... " Jungkook vaguely dismissed his senior as he pushed him in the passenger seat .

"That's because of you kookie ... I can't tell you this when I'm sober right... " He closed his eyes as soon as his seat belt was put on leaving Jungkook mystified.
Jungkook's heart didn't flutter; it remained steadfast, unmoved by the confession. He saw Taehyung's advances as nothing more than the ramblings of a man who sought love in the bottom of a glass, his words as fleeting as his romances.

"Let's get you home now .. " there was a tenderness in Jungkook's actions, a protective instinct that belied his tough exterior.

As he drove through, only one thought remained.
Jimin.
