Hell Cosmology

To begin, let's first talk about the cosmology of the history of the most powerful version of Godzilla from the IDW comics.

So let's start.

To say what is on the table anything officially produced by IDW, such as the issue descriptions of the Godzilla in Hell inspiration which was published in the comic series, and anything else officially stated.

It is important to note that it is officially stated in the Godzilla In Hell inspirations and it was envisioned that Godzilla was moving from one pocket of Hell to the next, so the cosmology I'm going to discuss is likely smaller than the true version of Hell.

But how large are these pockets and how many of them are there?

Well starting off with pockets themselves there are at least eight (possibly two more) separate pockets throughout the story that is:

Lost, The Abyss, Frozen Devastation, The Deluge, The Ice Wasteland, The Enclosed City, The Elementals, The Gate, the Alternate Earth and possibly the Heaven.

But how bigger are these pockets?

"The Abyss" is stated as the void that contains countless souls meaning too many souls to count or potentially infinite souls contained within this void along with all that has failed and gone wrong.

The next pocket of Hell which is called "Frozen Devastation" is considered a void like the Abyss and contains an eternity of ice, which in this context is using eternity as a statement of size rather than time, meaning the ice itself seemingly never ends or is infinite just like the Abyss is implied to be.

It contains ships from all points of time also potentially implying that Hell itself exists outside of linear time to a degree. This void is also considered its own realm much like the next layer of Hell...

"The Deluge" itself is an eternal or never-ending ocean.

If these three are anything to go by the rest of the realms and voids etc. should be infinite in size meaning we have at least eight infinite-sized realms (possibly ten) that potentially exist outside of time or beyond time.
