I was still scattering the pieces around when I felt a presence.

"Hy" I looked at his shadow and up to him, satisfied that I succeeded in ruining it.

"What are you doing?" he asked looking at me and the pieces in my hands.

"Can't you see"

"I told you not to touch it Rose" he said.

"No you didn't" I argued and acted like I was trying to solve it.

"I said it now" he said, taking it.

"But I want to solve it" I argued, approaching for it.

"I'll buy you another one" he said.

"No I want that" I argued.

"No you don't" he said putting a hand forward to stop me.

"Please Saad" I requested.

"No" he denied coldly, why doesn't he want me to.

Suddenly, the paper fell down, I took the opportunity and picked it up.

"Oh you dropped this" I said as he turned and looked at my hands.

His face fell pale when I tried to open it mischievously, just wanting to see his reaction.

"Give me that" he tried to reach for it.

"No"

"Why don't you want me to solve it?" I asked.

"A no is a no Rose" he demanded, as I threw the paper angrily.

"I don't care" I took my clothes out hysterically as he looked at me unbelieving, I was lost in my own thoughts as I remembered the poem, I smiled, a chuckle came out as I looked at Saad and shut up.

He narrowed his eyes, I paced and locked the bathroom door.

I took a shower and came out.

"You ready?" he asked.

"Hm"

"Let's go" he demanded and left, he always believes that I will be following him around.

He started walking, I stopped, waiting for him to turn and check on me, he reached very far only to realize that he left me behind.

"Can you hurry?" he shouted.

"I'm not hungry" I yelled and went back in the room. Why didn't he turn to check on me?

I took off my hijab and laid on the bed watching TikTok, he never came back.

After a whole one and a half hours, I heard the door open, I didn't turn to check because I knew that it was him.

"Sorry I was late" he said, I looked up from my phone only to see him with a tray full of food.

"So much food" I asked shocked, my eyes wide, I sat up.

"Mashaallah you eat!" I said, as he put the tray on the bed.

"No, it's for us" he said laughing.

"Why didn't you eat yet?"  I asked.

"Because I wasn't hungry" he shrugged.

"Stop lying" I said.

"Oh so it's fair when you lied" he argued.

"I'm not hungry" I argued back as my stomach growled.

"I know you are and even if you're not, I'll make sure you eat, I don't want you fainting over and over again" he said.

"I don't do it purposely" I said, sadly.
