This is how the wig turned out after styling. I was pleased. Although now that I am a much more experienced Cosplayer I intend to restyle over the summer.
Tips for styling:
•Get hairspray. I stole my moms
•A fine Toothed comb
•A brush preferably Michel Mercire or a wire or wet brush; something that goes easy on hair.
•~BOBBY PINSSSSS~
•Wig bust
•Large Sturdy box
• A tiny bowl of water in case you mess up
•A fully charged phone with a really good song playing on repeat I suggest 'Bubblegum Bitch' by Marina And The Diamonds it's a good song that won't get you distracted.
•hair clips and ties
•~Lay down a towel~
•duct tape wig bust to box
•secure wig to wig bust by stabbing some needles or a bobby pin through wig into wig bust.
•start song
•to get rid of past styling a wet the fine toothed come and calmly work your way through the hair. Brush out remainder with easy going brush.
•brush the hair a certain way
•get the strands you don't want near your stylings at the moment by bobby pinning them.
•spray the fuck out of your section that you find looks good and you want it to stay.
•repeat
•after that take out bobby pins and spray some more hairspray can't go wrong with that shit.
•Turn off music and snap some pictures to post your cool work on Instagram
