Sapphire scales glint in the sunlight,
Stronger then steel or diamonds
Razor-sharp claws poised and ready to pierce
Through any armor, flesh, or bone
Mighty wings send gusts of wind with each stroke,
Propelling the mythical dragon through the vast skies.

Jeweled cerulean orbs drink in the scenery
As Rider and dragon soar through the skies as one.
The first pale rays of sunlight as it peek over the sleeping hills
The snaking river cutting through the misty mountains
The emerald shrubbery clinging to the rocky cliffs.

They wheel through skies in exuberance and beyond limitations
Tasting the marshmallow clouds as they melt on their tongues.
A deep rumble sounds as a blazing ball of fire spirals through the haze
Sending a shower of sparks in a display of fireworks.
Flowers of fire bloom in the sky,
Wings of flame take flight.
A blazing ring welded of fire crowns the sun.

As the land continues to slumber,
Rider and dragon soar blissfully through waves of blue
Bonded as one being
