Those were the words that I could still hear in my head since my parents told me those sudden, and also shocking news. Currently, I was in my bedroom and I was sitting on a chair, looking and trying to study a few pages of the book that was right on top of my desk. But I just couldn't. Those words were still stuck in my head and also the huge fight with my parents that happened 20 minutes ago...
A few minutes ago
"Why would I marry someone who I never met or spoke to? And does he actually fit my standards like you guys say so?" I asked as I looked at both of my parents. We were in my mom's office so we could talk privately without the other family members hearing us, I was shocked, but also mad! Why would my parents do this to me? I may sound dramatic and it may sound like it's not a big deal. But it wasn't. Who wants to get married with someone you clearly don't know? I think the majority of people would want to meet a person and talk to them BEFORE things get official

So what if he was tall, handsome, rich or something. That is the least thing that I care about and not all rich people are so nice, what if that guy was a total bastard? I sighed, as I then looked at my mother, trying to calm myself down as I then decided to speak again

Is she serious? Is it that bad to be single forever? Why are my parents so hooked on the topic of who should I date or marry?
