⋆｡♬ 𖥔 ☾ ｡⋆ Chapter Seven

Backstage... before we were supposed to 'Rock out'! I was practically biting my nails completely off as we watched the small TV in our dressing room, First up was Camp Star— "oh god.... ELLA OPEN THAT BATHROOM DOOR I THINK I NEED TO PUKE TOO!.." I yelled starting to bang on the bathroom door "Calm down, Jeez.... Camp rock is awesome.. and we can do this" Shane said calmly still watching the TV with everyone else "thanks for the words of encouragement...." I stated sarcastically now walking away from the bathroom and back to the small tv, getting a slight pat on the back by a certain someone who made my nerves worsen— I held my breath and smiled in acknowledgment of Jason.. god if this camp never opens up again I'd never see him again, yeah you know what.. I definitely know I wouldn't want to never see Jason again without casually mentioning like 'oh hey, so yeah I was totally head over heels for you like probably the second we got pared together with the Junior rockers haha' oh.......This is definitely the wrong time to think about something that could jeopardizing a possible relationship between me and an actual decent human being— "you okay..?" Jason asked in a whisper making my left side tingle "YUP! TOTALLY FINE!" My awkward laughter issued after my thoughts scattered. . . "Alright we're up next" Shane said as we all walked out to the stage— "Ladies and gentleman Camp Rock!" — as our song started with Shane and Mitchie in the crowd walking back to the stage everyone else made their way— I didn't realize it until now but the videos from the Junior rockers camera were playing in the back— I turned my head from the piano keys and saw the videos flashing from one to another... cute ones with Shane and Mitchie, to ones with everyone having fun to— oh! It's the shaving cream prank— the camera panning from Jason with cream all over him to me giggling along with the kids— then the videos flashed to one video with Jason having fun with the Junior rockers.. hm, and me in the background admiring...? oh wow— I really do look head over heels.... the song coming to an end now I stared now at everyone celebrating——— "and the results are in......" it was all so sudden when  Camp Star was announced winners and we all felt our stomachs drop in dread.. I turned to the kids and saw their little hearts shattering, but once I turned to Jason I embraced him with a hug— it just felt right— I mean, all that we worked for was for nothing... well I didn't fully believe it was for nothing...——— sitting by the campfire now after our loss at final jam, we didn't all mind but.. we knew now that Camp rock wouldn't be over— in fact more people seemed to be joining— either way I knew I needed to at least tell Jason.. what I thought— I quickly tapped him on the shoulder and dragged him aside to the main hall from where everyone was at the camp fire. "So hey.." I started taking a breath in "hey..?" Jason questioned— I noticed his cheeks turning a shade of pink "so... uhm— I— think I most definitely like you and I would" All so sudden, Jason placed his hand on my cheek and leant in and our lips touched it felt like an eternity— but in reality it ended all to fast. "I—..." and just like that this summer suddenly became the best summer ever
