3rd person's POV

Ahn Chaerin's life was never easy. She grew up in an orphanage no love and care from her parents which she never met in her whole life. As someone older than the kids in the orphanage, she took care of them and treated them as her own children.

She entered the life of being a personal assistant and has been supporting the Love Orphanage since then. She managed to provide them with their basic needs in life.

Queen Freya heard about Chaerin's life and started supporting the orphanage that Chaerin came from. She was amazed by the girl's ability to do everything despite her age.

She dreamt of becoming a doctor and has been studying so hard for it. Her determination inspired a lot of people to help her.

Chaerin is more than thankful.

"Chaerin." Heiran called as soon as she saw her reading the book she is holding

It's been three days since the Queen Freya announced of her receiving full scholarship from the dean of the university. She was reading every book she thinks she needs to learn.

"I think you should rest." her friend worriedly said

"I will. Don't worry. Plus, I need to make sure everything is fine downstairs before I sleep. It's my last night as a maid of this place." she smiled

"Okay. Just rest after." Heiran smiled back at her and lay down on her bed

Chaerin finished reading half of the book and went downstairs to make sure that everything is fine. She checked every area of the palace and was relieved that there's no work to do.

Suddenly, sadness was felt. She went outside and sat on the entrance of the palace. She was spacing out, worried, nervous, she is having a mixed feelings.

Little did she know, Felix saw her checking every areas in the palace. He saw her leave the palace. As a prince who always love annoying his personal assistant, he thought of making fun of her.

He went downstairs and got out of the palace, but then he saw Chaerin sitting in front. To his surprise, she was crying.

He clenched his fist and took a deep breath. The prince is hesitating whether to comfort her or just give her some time alone. When he was about to enter the door, he felt worried.

Felix sat down beside her, "Is the moon and darkness comforting you?"

"Your highness-" Chaerin stopped when Felix chuckled

"Hey. Don't make me feel uncomfortable around you. Plus, I don't really like the title of being called your highness but it was needed." Felix said

She was silent as she wipe her tears.

"What made you cry? Are you sad because you are going to be my personal assistant again?" he laughed

"I-It's not like that, your highness. I was just worried of tomorrow. It's my first day and I am scared that I won't fit the standards-" Chaerin

"Standards? We don't have such. People in my university treats everyone equally. There's nothing to worry about." he said to comfort her

Chaerin smiled, "Thank you."

"Aside from that, is there something that worries you?" Felix asked

"Nothing. My tears have two reasons. One is because I am worried and scared. Second, I am grateful because I am started to have hopes again of reaching my dreams." she explained

"Yah, even without our help you will be able to fulfill your dreams. It's just that, you put others first before yourself." Felix

Chaerin started crying as she was touched by his words.

"I don't have my handkerchief with me- Ah." he wiped her tears using his shirt

"Your highness." she called

"It's okay. You can wash it tomorrow." He laughed again

She was quiet.

"Just cry it out. Tomorrow will be a new day, a fresh start. You should have no worries." Felix reminded her

Chaerin cried even more and Felix kept wiping her tears... It lasted for a few minutes, and they went quiet after.

The moon, stars, and dark sky, witness the start of something that was unexpected. A very memorable moment between two people who are in the same age but in different levels of life.

"Ahn Chaerin." he called

She looked at him.

"I have been wanting to ask you this, I just don't know why." Felix sad

"What is it, your highness?" Chaerin asked

"Why did you switch position with Heiran? I mean you are originally my personal assistant, and she is one of the maids. Did you hate me?" he asked

She froze with his question. No answer came out of her mouth, as her eyes widened. She doesn't know what to tell him.

"Did I do something wrong?" Felix asked once again

"It's not that-" Chaerin

He laughed, "I was kidding. I wanted to make you nervous and divert your attention from your worries."

Chaerin felt relieved.

"I am sure you have your reasons why. Anyway, if you don't want to work with me. It's totally fine. I can always request to find someone. Just tell me." he said

"Your highness, do you believe that a dream may come true?" Chaerin

"You mean dream as in when sleeping?" Felix clarified

"Yes." she answered

"Well, of course. You know I once dreamt of having a normal life, living in a far place, enjoying my life like others. How about you?" Felix asked

She smiled, "I dreamt of falling in love with the man I never expected to be with."
