Chaerin's POV

"Chaerin, the King Jacob and Queen Freya will arrive anytime soon. Did you clean their room?" Kyungmi asked

"Yes, I'm already done."

"Make sure to tell the other maids to prepare the dining room." Kyungmi reminded me

I hurriedly went to the dining room and found the maids already preparing the table for the royal couple's arrival.

They went to another country for some important reason and we were told that they will arrive today which is so unexpected. I am not even sure if the Prince Felix knew about it.

"Chaerin, can you please wake up Prince Felix? I need to finish something as soon as possible or else Kyungmi will scold me the whole day." Heiran desperately asked me

"Uh... Okay."

"Thank you!" Heiran smiled and hugged me tightly

I can't say no because she always does things for me when I ask her to. In return, I guess I will need to wake up Prince Felix for her.

I was Prince Felix's personal assistant but because of my stupid feelings for him I needed to distant myself from him. I asked the Queen Freya if she can assign Heiran as Prince Felix's personal assistant.

They said yes...

It's been a year since that day I dreamt of us. Now, I don't have any feelings for him anymore. I just see him as someone annoying.

I knocked on his door three times, "Prince Felix."

"I'm awake!" he said as he opened the door

"Your highness, did you know that your parents are arriving today?"

"I do. What do you think of my outfit?" Prince Felix asked and stepped backwards to show his outfit

"It's great-"

"Great? Hmm... I think I should change." he said

"Your parents will arrive anytime soon, your highness."

"I can't even make a maid say wow with my outfit. I think I should do better. Can you help me?" he asked and smiled like a puppy slightly waiting for me to answer

"I don't think-"

He pulled me inside his room. He took out all his outfits and showed me everything. All are in one color and same design?

"Choose." he said

"It's all the same color and design, your highness. Besides, everything will look good on you."

He sighed and stared at me, "Be honest with me. Judge my outfit and me. Don't think that I am a prince."

"I can't do that-"

"Do it, Chaerin. Fighting!" Prince Felix said and made me choose again

"Black looks good on you but I think white will look more good on you. I mean you look handsome in white."

"Then white it is." he said and took out all the white outfits

"Uh..."

"Choose." he said

"That plain one."

"Great choice! Thank you, Chaerin." he smiled at me

I left his room and went downstairs to take care of the other things but seems like everything is done. Everyone lined up-

"Chaerin!" Heiran called me

I hurriedly stood beside her, "They arrived?"

"Yes. Where did you go? Is the prince awake?" she asked

"He is. He asked me to help him choose outfits."

"Thank you." Heiran said

A few minutes after, the royal couple got out of the car with their personal assistant and bodyguards. They smiled at us while we bowed at them.

"Where's Prince Felix?" Queen Freya asked Heiran

"He is-" Heiran

"I'm here. Welcome back, Mom and Dad." he smiled as he walked down the stairs

"You don't have any classes today?" King Jacob asked

"Ah. Heiran?" Felix asked

"He has one class later in the afternoon, your majesty." Heiran answered while still bowing

"Hmm... I see. Have lunch with us first." King Jacob suggested

Felix nodded and smiled. The three of them went to the dining room, and was hurriedly followed by Kyungmi and some of the maids she assigned to serve, including me.

I was helping them serve food, water, etc.

"Ahn Chaerin." Queen Freya called

My eyes widened and I hurriedly stood beside her and bowed, "Yes, your majesty?"

"Did Felix tell you the good news?" Queen Freya asked

"Ah. I forgot." Felix said

"You, silly. Anyways, Chaerin, the dean of the university wanted to give a you a full scholarship. He saw your grades and he was amazed-" Queen Freya

"Oh my gosh! Thank you so much! I am really thankful!"

"Chaerin." Kyungmi called

"I-I'm sorry. I was just happy. I apologize, your majesty." I bowed and kneeled

"Hey, it's okay. I understand you are surprised and happy with what you heard." Queen Freya chuckled

"Congratulations, Ahn Chaerin." King Jacob told me

I bowed, "Thank you, your majesty."

"What will happen now, Mom? Is she going to be my personal assistant again? She is with me every single day." Felix said

Heiran was in a different school and she applied earlier than me. She also received a scholarship. Wait... So I will be with Felix every single day?

"If that's the case, then yes. She will be your personal assistant again." Queen Freya said

I looked at Heiran, and her face says it all, she wanted to laugh at me.

Oh my gosh. No. It's not that I don't like him, but I know with his actions towards me we will always fight with each other. I can't control myself sometimes. What if I cursed at him or hit him? What will happen to me?!

"Well, I guess we're going to be together again, Chaerin." Felix chuckled
