But you see, knowing Hyunjin, and this being the first time he managed to not win a fight with how stubborn he and everyone knew he was to be. It was amazing how he went from yelling and shouting at the young fella, into being audibly baffled and frozen in shock. A crazy but fun occurrence indeed.

"He's never been this speechless before. I think Felix got under his skin, really badly. " It wasn't an understatement that he did. Because Hyunjin would not deny it. But would he ever admit it? Out in the open?

You might as well feed him to the Calos if you ever expect that in the future.

"He's gonna fucking get himself killed."

Dystopia turns into a utopia in the reader's eye. Scanning through life and its mysteries to find. The wonders and joy they always were bestowed on, finally turn into the realistic image that it we're based on.

Felix chose to stay inside his apartment walls. The situation was a prime example of a singular tear falling along the side of a human's cheek. Letting it fall so gracefully and peacefully, even after the reason it had come to be; was quite the opposite.

But as one tear falls, and continues to slide and eventually be gone. I caved into that vulnerable side of yours, letting loose of your fears and worries for them to be shown. And now once they've been faced, you can't picture why you ever felt the fear in the first place.

"I wonder," a light voice spoke in the background. Halfway through the doors, Hyunjin stopped abruptly to look back. He sighed, "What has gotten your head all stuck now" he spoke as if he were tired. But was Morley used to this? By this, he meant his brother coming up with random things to say before they would part. Hyunjin was convinced at first that Jeongin only did this to savior a moment longer with him; So he never complained even if it seemed like he was.

"Do you believe in him?" This made Hyunjin pause. Repeatedly blinking at the accusation or what seemed to be a question. "What do you mean?" He asked. With eight of them dispatched going out into the field, the remainder eight in the back couldn't help but worry about their chances. Jeongin was one of the many who was most worried about it. Though he did not try to be, he kept trying to deny the fact that there was going to be a fifty percent chance of not all of them making it.

Had he been stupid, he would've begged for them to stay and try their best to figure out the situation for themselves. But life was no longer in their favor. Life was now tainted with the blood shed by humans, while the dead who caused the death and the decrease of its human meal roam free.

"Do you believe he can overcome it? And don't lie, I know you have your doubts as well. Indicating why you're going on with this mission I presume." Hyunjin was indeed right with Jeongin's worry and assumption. Although not entirely... he sighed but leaned down to face his brother.

"I did this so you would not have to go out there, I am entirely more trained than you when it comes to combat and scoping out the scenery." Hyunjin merely convinced himself that was the only thing he was doing this for. But deep down there had been another reason.

The conversation started peaking more and more throughout the time there, causing a stir between the two brothers who were only arguing with care. Hyunjin didn't find a point in why Jeongin still argued with him, but perhaps he was sincerely worried about this mission for once.

"Hyunjin, this mission is the most dangerous one we could ever go on—"

"I will be protected by 7 other individuals, and we will not let ourselves get caged so easily. You are arguing with me as if we are not trained!—"

"Hyunjin, you were not trained but forced to learn how to wield weapons by shit you've gathered after almost hurting yourself thousands of times. So please," He huffed exaggeratedly, "Don't give me that bullshit. That's the least you could do." Hyunjin paused, Not knowing how to respond to that, he did the most childish thing.

He sighed, "My little brother once again, has taken the upper hand in one of our foolish fights." Hyunjin spoke as he dragged his hands along Jeongin's hair, disheveling it over and over again. Jeongin scoffed, unphased by his brother's actions, but surely not surprised.

"Whatever, just... be safe. Hyunjin, please. Promise me this one thing"

Hyunjin smiled.

"Of course."

Hyunjin walked out of the room with a promise that he knew he had to return. A promise that was something that shouldn't have been taken lightly, or have been used as some silent course of action that would not sync through his head. So coming across the rest of the individuals who were facing the same challenge as him. He looked and gathered.

"You got this sunshine?" He spoke to the careless blonde.

Felix nodded, "Do you?" He asked hesitantly. And like the ass hyunjin was, "We're gonna die." He responded childishly. Wooyoung smacked him against the head to avoid any further comments from him, but won't lie to himself that he giggled per his stupid response.

"Stop fucking around and let's go, we have a lot to do today and won't be back until late tonight, or worse, dawn." San intervened in their little conversation, earning a scowl from wooyoung who just shrugged before walking past his ex-lover.

Hyunjin couldn't help but catch the longing in San's eyes as wooyoung walked past. A disappointed look but engraved with the desire to chase after. San felt as if his breath got caught in his throat it made him hide his embarrassment with a loud cough.

"Alright, let's head out."
