Before you read!

Hi, firstly I want to thank you for giving this book a chance I really appreciate it. I want to explain a bit about the book and give some trigger warnings/tropes involved in this book.

-This book was not originally written for Wattpad so it doesn't fit the vibe of lots of books on here. it's packed full of extended metaphors and is overall confusing in some places however, it all ties together in the end trust me. what I meant by it being confusing at times is very obvious when the love interest is introduced but there's reasoning behind everything and it will tie together perfectly. Since this book was not originally written for Wattpad it means I'm open to criticism, if any of you have suggestions of how I can improve my writing, or general thoughts on the book please comment i would love to know if you guys are enjoying it.

-This book includes flashbacks, when entering a flashback it should be evident but in case you are confused the flashbacks are all written in italics.

-The chapters at the beginning are a bit shorter, and my length of chapters varies a lot. however, they get longer throughout the book, they average at about 1,000 words. 

-I would love for readers to comment, I always want to know everyone's opinions of the book.

-drugs and alcohol, insecurities, hints at suicidal thoughts

tropes:

-shitty female friend group, "tortured" protagonist, rich-kid party scene, best friends ex-boyfriend (not really a common trope but it's a central theme), friends to lovers to strangers to enemies to lovers (long one I know)

tropes not included:

-unexpected pregnancy, brother's best friend (sadly, however, her brother and the love interest are friends. just not close due to the age gap), nothing mafia or "underworld" related.
