Hi! Thanks for checking out my story! This story started because of my social anxiety and lack of friends. Often, full days pass without anyone other than teacher's talking to me. To make thinks more interesting, I pretended I was a teen spy and was talking to someone through an earpiece discreetly about the case of staking out the international drug scheme being run out of the house across the street from my school. That voice inside my head became Tate Crown, and I became Vanessa Payne, Agent Goldfinch. This coping skill grew into all parts of my school life and I decided to write it down. This is still something I struggle very much with, but by writing it all down and sharing my feelings with this wonderful community, I hope to be able to overcome this challenge. Synopsis: Vanessa Payne is a bit of a loner. When she's recruited into the International Intelligence Service Birds of a Feather's junior agent academy, she sees this as her chance to turn her life around (after being shell shocked for about a week). However, when the targets on her first mission find out who she is, and place her in danger she asks herself: How much can I take? How much will I give?
