Chapter 2 : Azuren

Silence.

In the pitch-black space exists countless planets and stars of the galaxy Ra.

Of these millions and billions of stars, one of the unique stars is known as Laven.

Laven and its 7 planets have a purple hue around them.

The 4th planet is called Azuren.

Azuren has abundant water and plants, thus life prevails everywhere.

Azuren not only has humans but also mythological creatures.

There are three main continents namely Dramo, Elvem, and Nova.

Dramo is under the control of Dragons. All the monsters of the land and sea consider it a paradise.
Even though the dragons are lazy, they have complete control over every other monster. If they don't submit, the dragons will kill them. Simple but effective.

Elvem is ruled by the Royal family of Elves. Elvem welcomes all the humanoid creatures with one condition.
They should be peaceful. Elvem is a house for mermaids, werewolves, bunny people, etc.

Nova, the continent of humans. Predominantly consists of humans, though humanoids could also be seen.
Nova and Elvem maintained a good relationship. They exchanged materials and technology with each other. Humans are not under a single power. They were divided into 4 factions during earlier eras which then became 4 biggest empires.

Dramo - the biggest troublemakers. As monsters are bloodthirsty, they will start killing people from both Nova and Elvem. Even though the dragons controlled them, it's not like they could be present in every situation.

That's the main reason why Nova and Elvem have a good relationship with each other.

Also, every continent has its power, Dragons and monsters have magical energy; Elves and humanoids have nature's energy; Humans had cultivation; but now have advanced technology.

The Erosion Era.

5000 years ago, the heads of 3 continents found that the mana amount in the surroundings was reducing rapidly.

That situation back then made them shudder and caused waves across the world. Every race made attempts to find the reason for this phenomenon. They came to various conclusions and finally found the reason.

The mana origin disappeared. It directly affected the world. At last, their fear did become true, as they started losing their strength and powers.

They named this phenomenon Mana Reduction.

First, humans lost their cultivation. 5000 years ago, humans had cultivation that could rival elves and dragons.
But after mana diminished slowly, they were the ones to be affected first. As the mana origin of the world disappeared, they lost their cultivation overnight.

Next, Dragons and Elves felt their powers decreasing. Because both magical energy and nature's energy depend on mana. They are like secondary energy substitutes of mana. Thus every race faced the worst era.

The Erosion Era.

The humans suffered the most as they were directly dependent on mana. But they adapted quickly. They started developing technology crazily. They noticed that other races were affected too.

Every empire used its resources and knowledge to create special lasers and missiles. These could indeed injure and even kill dragons.
Though the dragons had their tough scales, they were not impenetrable like before the Erosion Era. So, they succeeded in the end.
