The day where it happen.

As he was done selling charcoal for the day he went up to the mountain where he and his family's lived.

"Hey tanjiro! Are you returning to the mountain? You can't it's dangerous." Said saburo ojii-san

"My nose can smell anything I'll be fine-"

"I'll let you stay for the night. Come."

He look back to the road and look at saburo Ojii-san "but-" "Enough of that, Come here. The demon will appear."

Tanjiro was about to accept that he was defeat but then he got the feeling something bad will happen if he stays with him and didn't get home

"I'm sorry saburo Ojii-san but I should get home now but thank you for the offer!" He then run up to the mountain because of how he felt bad that he decline the offer while saburo keep on calling for him

Tanjiro now was walking in the thick snowy storm, it was freezing but he didn't care he just want to go home and see his family

As he was walking he notice something was watching him, he stop and look around for a moment to see if theres someone there but he didn't see anything so he just kept on walking because he think it's an animal since no other people should be up here except his family

When he almost reach his home he smell blood...

He rush to his house and see his sister laying on the ground while hugging rokuta on her bloody hands and body

"What happened??!? Nezuko?! Rokuta!?!" He screamed while he looks at them and then the scent of blood got stronger inside his house

He goes to look what happen inside the house... He saw his family dead.

Blood painted the walls and the floor and many lifeless body of his family lay there on the ground

"Mom.. Hanako.. Takeo... Shigeru... "

When he drop to the floor while crying he notice that there's a new scent in the air... The same scent that smelled like what's inside the house right now...

He turn around to see a man in a wealthy western outfit looking at him with that red plum cat eyes

"You boy... Are you the successor of the sun breathing?"

'Sun breathing? What is he talking about..??' He look at him confuse but also with rage

"What the hell are you talking about?! Are you the one who killed my family!?" He stood up while shaking

The man just look at him like he was analyzing him

"That earrings... I know where they're from and you look exactly like him" The man said with anger

"What the fuck are you trying to say here!?! Answer me!"

In the blink of an eye he notice now he was grabbed by him and now he felt like his choking

While he was choking He tried to grab his hatchet. He manage to grab them and he tried swing it at the man's arm

It got chopped off and he was now coughing from the choking, as he was backing up now he look at the man and... His arm was back!?!

"Foolish child... Do you really think you can kill me with that?"

Tanjiro look shock because this man is not human at all... His a demon that his grandma have mention him in the storys when he was a kid. It was all real all along... It wasn't some fairytale legends at all

He back away again after realizing that but the man step closer

He got grabbed again but now it's the hair

"Hmm I wonder if you could be a good use to me..." He said while tanjiro was trying his best to escape

"Oh! How about I turn you into a demon that can concour the sun for me?" He smirk at tanjiro,while tanjiro looks terrified at what he just told to him

"W-what do you mean by t-that" He struggles to talk since he his hair is still being pulled

"This" The man stabbed him with his finger in his neck and then he feel like his body is burning

He scream while the pain increase more and more

The man then dropped him to the floor while tanjiro is still screaming in pain and crying, then he passed out in the floor

The man then carry him on his shoulder

"Nakime" The man said and then a shouji door appears in front of him. He went inside and a room an empty room was in there, he throw the unconscious boy the ground and left him alone

Tanjiro wake up with a feeling of dizziness and pain in the neck, he look around of his surrounding to find himself in an unknown place

"Where am I..?" He said with a confuse and concern look on his face
